Whether it’s been a longtime dream to see one or just something that crossed your mind once, there are actually several anime theme parks in Japan that you can visit today. In this list are full-scale amusement parks as well as more literally, anime-themed parks, so there’s something for everyone.
The theme park’s goal is to represent the best of Japan’s entertainment via shows, rides, and immersive experiences. Specifically, they’re picking the best of the best — shows known and loved globally — to get us to finally take the leap and take a vacation abroad. And honestly, they’re doing a pretty good job. Some of these are seriously enviable.
But if you’re an anime fan, you’ll have to look a little further afield for those unique experiences. The good news is, they exist; the bad news is, they’re (unsurprisingly) in Japan. Universal Studios Japan has been running a “Cool Japan” initiative for several summers now.

FINALLY, AN ACTUAL NARUTO THEME PARK IS NOW OPENED!! (Well, it's actually NARUTO x BORUTO collaboration theme park…) It's called Shinobi-zato, and it is located in a huge park called Nijigen-no-mori, which translates to '2-D forest' in Japanese. The park is opening a new Demon Slayer attraction for a limited time as well as special food menu and merchandise from September 2021 to February 2022.

The name "Ghibli" was chosen by Miyazaki from the Italian noun ghibli (also used in English), based on the Libyan Arabic name for hot desert wind (قبلي, 'ghiblī'), the idea being the studio would "blow a new wind through the anime industry". It also refers to an Italian aircraft, the Caproni Ca.309.
Location. Studio Ghibli Park will be located in Aichi Expo Memorial Park in Nagakute City, Aichi Prefecture – about an hour east by train from Nagoya. Interestingly, the location is the former site of the 2005 World Expo, which featured a recreation of Satsuki and Mei's house from My Neighbour Totoro.

The World's Only Ocean Theme Disney. Known as "the number one amusement park in Asia", Tokyo Disneyland Resort is the only place in the world that has 2 Disneylands. An hour's drive from Tokyo, in the city of Nikko, is an Edo-era theme park — Nikko Edomura. The park offers the largest reproductions of streets in the Edo era in Japan.
