The majority of anime, however, will attract fans and haters alike. The reason Tokyo Ghoul could be said to be “bad” is because it is a typical shounen anime. Anime like Sword Art Online, Fairy Tail, or Attack on Titan all fit this category. The plots are convoluted and start to degrade by the end of the story.
But in the Manga, the incidents occured were actually different. After Kaneki had fought Amon, he suffered real major injuries and went underground.
During the match, Kaneki was no match for Arima. He was overwhelmingly very strong and destroyed Kaneki. As the fight was on, Kaneki was starting to lose all his memories and lost them all. Since he was nobody now, CCG took the memory-less Kaneki and made him an investigator.
Tokyo ghoul has finally ended and sadly it will stay that way. The ending of Tokyo Ghoul:reafter it was published. The extra-long chapter brought the series to a graceful close as readers met up with Ghouls and former CCG investigator alike following a time-skip. The ending is a bittersweet experience.
