Record of Ragnarok - Reviews. The story is good or generally accepted. It is not that important and it is not necessarily absent, but in general you can understand it This anime is good in other ways, but rather bad in its application, for example: the following characters are generally good, Sasaki Kojiro and Poseidon were good, but the characters of Lu Bu and Thor were bad, which is a bad start to the work.
Record of Ragnarok, also known as Shūmatsu no Walküre, is a Japanese manga series written by Shinya Umemura and Takumi Fukui and illustrated by Ajichika. It began in Coamix's seinen manga magazine Monthly Comic Zenon in November 2017. An anime series adaptation by Graphinica is set to premiere in June 2021.
So... Is the record of ragnarok anime good? Yes, I saw the memes and slideshow esque fights go viral when the show first drop. But a bit removed from the release date and all... is the show worth a watch? If you like 15 minute fights that get drawn out over several episodes. Plus characters with big boobies that need statues to hold them.
Our Take: Record of Ragnarok has a fascinating premise: the fate of humanity rests in the hand of the species’ finest. It’s an epic brawl that finds combatants tearing each other to shreds for an all-important cause.
Record of Ragnarok will bring to mind the same kind of cinematic fights as seen in battle-centric shonen series like The Seven Deadly Sins, as teams clash in the battle to see if the gods or humanity will win out. It’s heavily stylized, and its character portraits can even bring JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure to mind at certain points.
That said, Records of Ragnarok stands out because of its animation style, blending of aesthetics, and the complete absurdity that is packed into character designs. In fact, if I had to sum up Records of Ragnarok it would be a cross between Baki and JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.

The biggest issue with Record of Ragnarok is with its animation. It was always going to be a difficult series to animate, but I didn’t expect the ball to be dropped this badly. A majority of shots are still images with speedlines overlayed or camera shake to give the appearance of movement.
A thrilling tournament where 13 gods and humans fight to the death with humanity’s survival on the line. Based on a manga of the same name written by Shinya Umemura and Takumi Fukui and art by Ajichika, Record of Ragnarok is one ...
Record of Ragnarok actually takes the time to flesh out each one of them, a much welcome step away from the superficial, one-note characters that populate other tournament or death game series. Character history and backstory seamlessly flow with the battles.
But for Record of Ragnarok fighting was at a literal stand still. Record of Ragnarok never promised to be a groundbreaking anime. There was no grand philosophy or epic adventure at its core. But what it did promise was that it would be good fun.
