The game inspired a 15-minute anime short by Kamikaze Douga titled "Tales of Crestoria -The Wake of Sin-." Crunchyroll streamed the short worldwide in October 2020. The anime adapts the prologue of the game's story, "showing Kanata and Misella setting off on their journey."
Then yes, there is Romance in this game. Awkward kind of Romance, but it's still there to some extent. And there's a Romance between all of the characters, not just the two main ones.
Code Vein is an open world action role-playing game set in a post-apocalyptic dystopian environment and played from a third-person perspective. Its gameplay was inspired by the Dark Souls series of games, and the animation is inspired by God Eater 3, both published by Bandai Namco and developed by the same team.
Fortunately, players don't need to play any other games before starting Tales of Arise. The game is a standalone adventure and isn't a sequel or prequel to any other titles in the Tales series. The Tales series is similar to Final Fantasy in that each game is self-contained.
If you're looking for a lengthy, charming, and engaging JRPG to play on your shiny new console or PC gaming rig, Tales of Arise is certainly a fine choice. Just don't go into it expecting an all-time classic.”
Tales Of Arise: There Are No Plans For A Sequel.
After a rocky year and a half of providing its service to fans, Tales of Crestoria shut its doors to players on February 6, 2021. While the shutdown was brought on due to the many bugs and glitches that plagued the game since launch, many fans sent the mobile game off by playing it until the very last moment.

Similar to the previous games in the series, the anime sequences will be produced by Ufotable, while the game's score will be written by Motoi Sakuraba. Arise was revealed at E3 2019, although details of the game had leaked on the internet a few days before.
Arise takes place in a setting divided between the medieval world of Dahna and the advanced world of Rena. Rena's superior technological and magical advancement cause it to hold power over Dahna, taking its resources and treating its people as slaves.
The game's title derived from its codename as it best exemplified both the game's story themes and the team's wishes. While previous Tales games used a dedicated in-house engine, Arise was built using Unreal Engine 4, allowing much higher graphical quality compared to earlier entries. Character models and movement were also improved, with the team aiming at the same level of quality found in 3D films and television. While the previous game Tales of Berseria had been a cross-generation game for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4, Arise was made exclusively for modern hardware. Tomizawa stated that while the team was aiming for a level of quality that can be enjoyed globally, the game would not neglect its Japanese fans.
The game is built using Unreal Engine 4 .
The seventeenth main entry in the Tales series, it was originally planned to release in 2020 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, but was delayed to September 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The game follows two people from the opposing worlds of Dahna and Rena.

Arise was developed by Bandai Namco Studios. The team included veterans going as far back as Tales of Phantasia, alongside newcomers who were passionate about the series. The art director and character designer was Minoru Iwamoto, who had worked on both Berseria and Tales of Zestiria. This was the first time the same person had filled both roles, and was part of Bandai Namco's move towards unifying the game's themes and artstyle. The world design went in a darker direction compared to earlier entries, both to further the series evolution and appeal to the Western market. Despite the overt focus on 3D graphics, 2D anime cutscenes are still planned as with previous entries. Similar to the previous games in the series, the anime sequences were produced by Ufotable, while the game's score was written by Motoi Sakuraba. The game's theme song is "Hibana" by Kankaku Piero, which marks the third time a theme song in the Tales series has had both an English version and a Japanese version. Ayaka performs two songs for the game, "Blue Moon" for the game's ending song and "Hello, Again ~Mukashikara Aru Basho~" (Hello, Again 〜昔からある場所〜, Hello, Again ~A Place that has Been Around for a Long Time~) for the second opening theme.

An earlier entry in BANDAI NACMO’s Tales series, Tales of the Abyss received and anime adaptation in 2008. This series follows the story of Luke fon Fabre, a young boy who was kidnapped at a young age and loses his memories as a result of the traumatic event.
Tales of the Abyss is a lot like Tales of Arise, as they both incorporate the six elements of the series. Arise ‘s protagonist Alphen must journey throughout Dahna to take down the lords that rule over the districts, each representing a certain element. Additionally, Tales of Arise has one of the strongest romantic subplots since Tales of the Abyss ’s Luke and Tear.
It’s been a while since the last Tales game was released. Tales of Berseria was a 2016 release in Japan which was followed by a 2017 Western release. Fans have understandably been anxiously anticipating this release for the next round of systems. Does Bandai Namco push the boundaries for this the Tales series forward on these new consoles can do or is Tales of Arise held back because it’s also on last-gen systems?
Bandai Namco’s last action RPG, Scarlet Nexus, had some inconsistencies in the cutscenes and voice work. Given that both that game and Tales of Arise share development team members, fans may be wondering if Tales of Arise suffers from the same inconsistencies.
The thankful answer is no. Almost the entire game is voiced which was not the problem for this other game, Scarlet Nexus. It was that most of the story was told through manga-like cutouts. Tale of Arise has this feature as well but only in Skits, which is side dialogue. Most of the game then has plenty of voiced, in-game cutscenes.
It should be mentioned that environments are not as detailed as characters but that’s still okay. The world of Tales of Arise is even more open than any entry in the series before which is a big step up.

Arise takes place in a setting divided between the medieval world of Dahna and the advanced world of Rena. Three centuries ago, the Renans based on Rena's artificial moon Lenegis invaded and conquered Dahna, subsequently enslaving the population and dividing the land into five isolated realms, each ruled by a Lord: The barren and scorching Calaglia, dark and cold Cyslodia, the fertile plains of Elde Menancia, the windy mountains of Mahag Saar and the rainforests of G…
