The original series of Pokemon is by far the best, and I really enjoyed the Johto saga, however recently Pokemon has gone down hill. The story lines are repetitive and so similar to the original series, and the newest one (Diamond and Pearl) looks to make things worse.
What is the best Main Series Pokémon game of Alltime? Here’s the poll I feel will make everyone vocal. I’ve done many polls before this one and these are the most loved games by the Pokémon community. My pick is B2W2 because content wise it can’t be beat. Legendaries, Sprites, PWT, Story, etc.
Pokemon. Pokemon is considered to be one of the most popular anime series out there. This show is fun and has adventure, action, and morals.
Yu Gi Oh! WAS popular back in the day, but DBZ and Naruto's popularity has been pretty consistent. I'm not saying Pokemon, or it's anime isn't popular here, because it is. But when it comes to the most popular anime that's usually on people's top tens, DBZ or Naruto gets brought up the most among American audiences.
Millions of kids (and more than a few self-conscious teens) got their start on the series through the anime - easily the most successful example of spinoff media in gaming history.

Pokémon currently reigns as the single highest-grossing media IP on earth, with revenue exceeding roughly $105 billion across those same movies, video games, and merchandise that Time carped about. (It's a number that beats Star Wars, Harry Potter, and the Marvel Cinematic Universe.)
It's clear that Japan Pokémon is extremely popular in Japan and takes on a much higher prestige than any other country in the world. What's also evident is that even if you aren't a fan of Pokémon, Japan will probably serve it up to you in the form of food, drinks, events, or clothing at least once during your stay.

Pokemon Journeys ' funniest, most off-the-wall episode, really pushed the suspension of disbelief. The two stories included a Magikarp Jumping contest reminiscent of the 2017 app that ends with Goh's Magikarp in orbit and a trip to an island of Slowpoke, where Slowking's Shellder crown changes everyone's personalities.
When Ash and the group come across a bunch of wild Pikachu who quickly accept Ash's as one of their own, Ash prepares to say goodbye, believing it to be in Pikachu's best interests to be with his own kind -- but Pikachu won't let that slide, and refuses to leave his side.
Diamond and Pearl in the Pokemon series is iconic for so many reasons. The game it’s based on is fantastic, the anime is great with some deep episodes – like when Jessie lets go of Dustox for love, or Pikachu questions evolving again for the first time since Season 1 – and the companions are just outstanding.
But it doesn’t really build on its previous series success. It feels a lot of the same as before and while yes, that does work for Pokemon, there are so many other episodes that really dig deep and give thought-provoking messages, but Johto didn’t really do that for me.
But Pokemon is great in so many ways, one of which being that they constantly update their regions, characters, stories, and new Pokemon with each new series that the game takes on, revolving around the corresponding game release. But, that doesn’t mean that they aren’t at all very different from each other. So here, we are going ...
Ash had a good run with Greninja but he let it free in the wild with Squishy and Z-2 to protect Kalos from the evil roots of Team Flare. Greninja also appeared in Detective Pikachu working for Clifford Enterprises. They get blown away by Lucy's Psyduck while trying to approach Harry Goodman and Tim.
There may be stronger Pokémon (even among Ash's mains,) Pikachu's importance has never declined. It has always been there for Ash. This years-long friendship began when Ash received his first Pokémon from Professors Oak's Laboratory. Pikachu, at first, was rebellious about being with Ash.
One advantage the OG anime has compared to Origins is Ash and his friends traveling throughout each region. Even if it is just for one episode, seeing a town or city thrive with such personality makes us feel like we are there with Ash and the gang.
Akin to the first entry, the OG anime might not be entirely faithful to the games, it at least makes up for it by focusing on the traveling aspect. The Pokémon world in the anime looks vibrant and is truly a perfect form of escapism.
XYZ anime is the best, and for so many reasons: 1 The Pokegirl has some kind of history with Ash 2 Animation quality hasn’t been better 3 Ash finally reaches the league finals 4 He finally caught a pseudo legendary and evolved it 5 Team Flare was awesome 6 Ash finally beat a champion (But took 3 tries to defeat Diantha) 7 At this time, Ash was in his prime 8 Alain and Sawyer were incredible rivals
Ash also had one of his strongest teams with Ash-Greninja, Goodra (his first fully evolved pseudo and his only Pokémon to never lose a battle), Talonflame, Hawlucha, and Noivern. Team Flare might’ve been lackluster in the games but they were amazing in the anime.
