Platinum End isn’t necessarily bad, but it isn’t the best anime out there as well. It has a subpar 6.31 rating on MyAnimeList, and while that doesn’t mean it’s bad, it certainly doesn’t stand out. The anime is the victim of the author’s success, as people simply compare it to Death Note and Bakuman.

Platinum End is a 4/10 for me. It's not creative and almost like a Mirai Nikki ripoff but slightly more enjoyable. This doesn't really waste your time if you are watching in the seasonal release, but when the anime was full out of 24 episodes, it would be better if you don't waste your time watching Platinum End.

Is Platinum End as good as Death Note?

The reason I mentioned this is because just as Platinum End, both stories started quite interesting, with themes a bit more on the mature side and promising plots. The first episode of Platinum End reminded me of Death Note and I was truly excited, but soon its characters completely obliterate any hopes of a good show.

Is the anime any good?

The anime is good. It is not completely predictable, but the protagonist can become very annoying with the too pure and childish thought of him. However, I don't judge that ... Why? Because it is possibly the kind of contrast that the author wants you to make,

What do you think about the art in an anime series?

An anime series does not have to reinvent the wheel to be enjoyable. The art is pretty good. The CGI is not overused and the CGI arrows that they use are quite beautiful. I am usually extremely critical of CGI in anime because it can really ruin the animation, but in this series it is used tastefully and purposefully.

Doc The manga is rated Mature so I would suggest at least 17. It has nudity, sexual themes, and violent suicide.
