Magi is seriously a good pick to watch if you want to see a good story and intriguing battle scenes. This show is pretty balance it its comedy, angst and battles. Good flow and it's not one of those animes where every battle the good guys keep leveling up to obnoxious abilities that just seems overkill.

The rating says it's 13+ because of the things it discusses: violence, horror, and a lot of psychological ramifications of being a magical girl. Even after what I've said, if you're still interested in seeing it, let your parents watch a few episodes first. Make sure they give you the OK before you watch it.

Why don't Magi use Extreme Magic if they have unlimited magoi? If the magicians of Al-Thamen are able to team up and use those spells, why couldn't Arba for example do it on her own? Also, I don't recall anyone trying to use Extreme Magic against a Magi, but would a Magi win against an Extreme Magic?
