Eru Chitanda (千反田 える, Chitanda Eru) is a main character of Classic Literature Club series and Hyouka. She is a student at Kamiyama High School and the president of the Classical Literature Club where it is usually her who is responsible for getting the club involved with solving various mysteries.
It is not a harem. It does have romantic plot threads, but like much of the show, those plot threads move very slowly. Don't watch it if you like fast paced series.
But, the unwillingness of the creators to show them actually getting together and cutting it off there is the reason Hyouka is not a good anime. The choice of leaving the ending vague and open made the quality of this anime drop from 8.9/10 to well below 4/10.
Hyouka is undoubtedly worth watching. It delivers on the plot, visuals, character development and just general likability too.

The romance is also present. Both are laid back supernatural series set in modern Japan. Both focus more so on dialogue rather than bombastic action scenes (although there is more action in Sakurada Reset and more humor in Bunny Girl).

Hyouka wasn't a love story, and Oreki's fleeting thoughts at the end of the show are just those—fleeting thoughts. The ending scene was a hint, a teaser that makes us want to see them together, but leaves the aftermath to our imagination.
It's very kid friendly which is unusual for most anime, but there are the rare occasions of some mild language but definitely PG rating. No sexually inappropriate material, girls are adequately dressed, no inappropriate camera angles, and all romance is acceptable.
