Light Spoilers BNA is an furry anime. And I am a furry 0_0 Anyway, This show has beautiful visuals. The movements of the characters plus the backgrounds were so stunning. It was very awesome! And the characters were awesome! Especially Shirou Ogami. So BNA is the anime how Beastman that lives separate from humans because humans hate them.
With the recent premiere of Studio Trigger's BNA: Brand New Animal, a new era for furry anime is officially upon us. What does BNA have in common with its other recent entries into this niche subgenre? Anthropomorphic animals have been a large part of the pop culture sphere ever since the early days of Disney films.

Bna is the newest Trigger animation and man it's a Trigger s... Deep diving into my brain to talk about why i loved BNA and why i might possibly be a furry now.
It’s no stretch to say that the new generation of furry anime is officially upon us. Anime depictions of this eclectic internet culture have always been present as either side characters or overly fantastical plots, but the last few years have seen a resurgence of walking, talking animals in more contemporary narratives.
The furry fandom is a subculture interested in anthropomorphic animal characters with human personalities and characteristics.
Beastars is a great anime, and no, it isn't just for furries. In fact, it's far from it. No, really, I'm serious. Beastars offers fans of the series a meticulously crafted world and compelling characters.
In Gleipnir, a teenage boy transforms into a massive furry-suit and is worn by a homicidal girl. Together they combat others with similar monstrous powers. The appeal of Gleipnir is its bizarre premise. But is the anime's weirdness enough to hold the audiences' interest?

Despite this anime's reputation of being a furry anime, Beastars is a beautiful story about discrimination. Due to its gore, violence, sexual scenes and dark themes, I would recommend it to ages 13+ if they are mature enough or will watch it with a parent/guardian if not I would say wait until they are 15+.
In the broadest sense, a furry is someone with an interest in anthropomorphized animals — that is, animals who have been given human characteristics, like an ability to talk or walk on their hind legs.
Even so, the lack of any update whatsoever opens up the possibility that Season 2 will never happen. However, all hope is not lost. "Gleipnir" isn't the only anime lost in limbo between seasons, and it would be far from the first to receive a continuation after a long period of inactivity.

The latest from the incredible studio TRIGGER (Promare, BNA) is coming to Funimation. We're excited to announce that SSSS. DYNAZENON will stream exclusively on Funimation as part of the Spring 2021 anime season lineup!
It first emerged in its current form between the years of 1982 and 1984, though fans debate which years it emerged precisely.
The Air Pirates Funnies in particular took animals that they identified as Disney-centric and put them in explicit sexual positions in order to parody and mock them. This led to a famous 1971 lawsuit where The Walt Disney Company sued creator Dan O'Neill over his content.
The same can't be said for Beastars, which, since its international Netflix release, has become a mainstream hit. Beastars in many ways is akin to many of the rebellious 1970s underground comics that channeled anthropomorphism as a way to satirize cartoon media at the time.
BNA: Brand New Animal ( Japanese: BNA ビー・エヌ・エー, Hepburn: Bī Enu Ē), or simply known as BNA by Netflix internationally, is an original Japanese anime television series produced by Studio Trigger.
BNA: Brand New Animal was nominated for a Ursa Major Award in the Best Dramatic Series category. The Ursa Major awards are given in the field of furry fandom works and are the main awards in the field of anthropomorphism. BNA is nominated for an Annie Award for Best Character Design in TV/Media . The show is nominated for a Seiun Award.
Set in a world where humans co-exist with a branch of humanity called Beastmen who face persecution due to their ability to turn into humanoid animals. The series centers on Michiru Kagemori, a young teenage girl who suddenly turned into a tanuki beastman after her best friend Nazuna Hiwatashi was abducted. Michiru ran away to seek refuge in Anima City, a haven made for the Beastmen, and meets the mysterious wolf beastman Shirou Ogami who works for the city's mayor Barballet Rosé. As the two work to investigate the circumstances of Michiru's transformation while keeping the peace in Anima City, they get themselves mixed up in a conspiracy involving Sylvasta Pharmaceutics and a cult dedicated to the Silver Wolf whom the Beastmen revere.
A human high schooler who one day turned into a tanuki beastman and came to Anima City to find a way to turn herself back to normal, believing her transformation was initially a disease before learning it was the result of her being infused with beastman blood while in the hospital. Due to the circumstances of her transition into a beastman, Michiru can access the traits of other animals and stretch her form to massive lengths.
Michiru's childhood friend and classmate with aspirations of becoming an idol prior to becoming kitsune beastman as the result of being infused in beastman blood while hospitalized, taken in by Sylvasta Pharmaceutics to refine her abilities to alter her form.
The other six were later available on May 6, 2020.
June 17, 2020. ( 2020-06-17) (+Ultra) Mayor Rosé escapes captivity and heads back to Anima City with Pinga's help, who flies her over the guarded border. Marie informs Shirou that Nazuna, at Boris' suggestion, is planning to reveal that she is a human during her concert.
Violence terrifies Shuichi, but Clair, driven by her strong survival instinct, fights and kills their enemies with ease, much to Shuichi’s horror. What brings one partner euphoria fills the other with tremendous guilt. Clair is particularly fascinating as the only prominent character who isn’t a gatherer.
Clair refers to entering Shuichi as “becoming one,” and the two are able to sense each other’s emotions. The more often Clair enters Shuichi, the stronger they become as a team and as individuals, in the same way growing more intimate can strengthen bonds between lovers and teach each partner more about themselves.
Like Beastars, BNA: Brand New Animal focuses on a society of animal people, but in this world, the beastmen exist as a separate but similar species alongside humanity. One day a human girl named Michiru suddenly transforms into a tanuki beastkin and, fearing persecution, ventures to Anima City, a safe haven for all beastfolk, to try and discover a way to turn back.
Gleipnir is the odd pup amongst these series, bizarre in both its premise and how it qualifies as “a furry show.” It differentiates itself from other prestige furry shows because it doesn’t technically feature any anthros. Rather, the main character, Shuichi Kagaya, is a human who can turn into a super-powered fursuit that fights monsters. You know, typical teenage shenanigans.

Another character, a dwarf rabbit named Haru, is always treated as if she’s a fragile little thing, liable to be devoured at any moment. As such, her promiscuity is motivated both by her perceived lack of time and the fact that sex is the only time she doesn’t feel infantilised and pitied by others.

Beastars may look pretty niche even by anthro standards (a deer having human hands and fingernails instead of hooves looks inexplicably odd), but the series has won over many anime laypeople friends of mine with its penchant for inventive storytelling and surprising levels of character depth. One of the show’s biggest charms is ...
A once celebrated goddess revered for her blessing for the harvest, now reduced to a mere folk tale.
A videogame adaptation, Doubutsu no Mori actually is very cute anime. This little movie will have you sit back and sip on your beverage as you watch it.
You have lived in the mountains in your shrine where you work as a maiden for almost all of your life. Now, you need to to to city for further schooling and you have no idea what to do.
Ever been to a club? Drinking? Enjoying with your friends? Laughing? Dancing? Picking up girls?
All I’m asking for is for everyone to leave me alone so that I can read my books in peace? Is that too much to ask for?!
Horse girls? Unicorn women? Pegasus ladies… Look, I don’t know what to call them but they are humanoid horse hybrid femme athletes who are best known for their speed and endurance…
Transported 500 years into the past after being used to get some wish-granting jewel from your backyard well. Just great. An unnecessary complication?
But the journey is not going to be easy as there are people who are willing to do anything to get to the gates of the utopia. 6. InuYasha (2000) ‘InuYasha’ is one of the most famous anime of all time.
They cannot have any physical relationship with the hybrid. Kimihito Kurusu is the protagonist of the anime. Due to a mistake by a government agent, he ends up becoming the caretaker of a snake-woman, Miia. As the series progresses more and more of these hybrid women fall under his guardianship. 11.
I also liked the various character designs. The anime revolves around a powerful deity by the name of Holo whom the folks at Pasloe town revers as she blesses their harvest. But as the years pass by, the villagers start becoming more and more self-sufficient and it is not long before Holo becomes nothing more than folklore. Kraft Lawrence is a trader who visits Pasloe. Holo decides to offer him her help if he can take her to Yoitsu which is her northern home. Kraft realizes that Holo has the ability to perfectly evaluate a person’s character. Thinking that this would be of great help to opening his own shop he lets her accompany him. But as they spend more time together it seems that Kraft’s aspirations are slowly changing into something he did not expect.
‘Uma Musume: Pretty Derby’ is an anime about horses who have got a second chance at life and have been reborn as horse girls. The anime takes place in a world which is quite similar to Earth. Here great racehorses from the past have the chance of being reborn as horse girls to regain fame and glory once again. These girls possess horse-like ears and tail and also have the speed and endurance of a horse. They train themselves at the famous Tokyo’s Tracen Academy. Special Week is a horse Girl who wants to become one of the best horse girls so that she can fulfill her mother’s promise. She is inspired by a fellow horse girl Silence Suzuka and wants to be on the same team as her.
It is their influence that stretches across the vast stretches of the feline galaxy. Tamala, the protagonist of the anime is a one-year-old kitten. She wants to escape this world of tyranny and thus boards her spaceship in search of the planet of her origin.
Inu to Hasami wa Tsukaiyou (2013) ‘Inu to Hasami wa Tsukaiyou’ is a furry anime with a dog as the protagonist. Many might not consider this a furry anime since the dog is nothing but a human reincarnated as one rather than being a dog with human characteristics.
Animals behaving like humans is quite common when you analyze any form of entertainment media, especially in animation and comic book . This genre allows the creators to be quite creative and imaginative in their approach to entertain the viewers. Over the years, there have been various furry anime some of which are quite entertaining.
