Or, if you just watch a lot of subbed anime, you will slowly begin to read the subtitles faster. How can I effectively edit my own writing? So, you think you’ve drafted a tweet, an email, a short story, or even a novel.

If you can Sync it up perfectly, you should be able to watch Dub anime with Subtitles. How many people who watch anime listen to it in Japanese and read subtitles instead of watching it in English?
Fast forward over a decade and reading subtitles is second-nature to me, requiring no more effort than a show in English. So my answer is yes, over time it can increase reading speed and decrease the amount of effort needed to read, watch, and process a story cohesively.
Most Anime shows on Netflix have horrible subtitles The most prominent case has to be that the translating industry is an overworked but underpaid one. Translators usually get $255 for a 110-minute film for a local streaming service. This low compensation, along with tight deadlines, can lead to substandard work.
No translation is ever 100% accurate, and some are better than others. I prefer licensed subs over fansubs, and try to listen to the Japanese dialog while using the subtitles as sort of a guide.
In the case of your anime, you're getting subtitles to the Japanese audio, and watching the English audio. The English audio is not a translation of the Japanese Audio, it's a rescript, partly for cultural reasons, partly due to lip syncing issues. So they do not match. yup, it's exactly that!
Is there any action anime where main character ain't a kid but instead a full grown man.
Are there any animes where an actual worthwhile person gets sent to another world? Maybe they have a loving family? An avid social life? Were married to a loving spouse that they miss and have a hard time living without. Maybe they had a child. Are there any animes like that?

I admit it, I'm spoiled by the sheer beauty of many recent (ish) anime, but I want to watch some older stuff too. I watched Bebop, NGE and Akira, so don't recommend them, please.

I am VERY new in anime. I only watched one punch man, demon slayer and naruto. My 1st two animes are one punch man and demon slayer. After finishing naruto I cant enjoy anything. I then started watching my hero academia. But an anime on that level still dosent feel enjoyable. So i want to watch an anime that i can enjoy after naruto.
