After cleaning and drying the glass (making sure the glass is free of lint and dust), use a sharpie to trace your image on the glass, then prime it. Once primed, you can start painting! Start by painting the small details first before making your way to larger details. You’re going to paint on the side of your tracing.
As anime eyes are usually drawn much larger then real eyes you may have to accommodate for that as well by drawing larger lenses. For the front view (as the example above) of anime glasses draw them pretty much as you would draw real glasses while keeping all the things mentioned in the previous step in mind.
Use light strokes at first and apply more pressure as you get a feel for the painting process. It's easier to add more paint than it is to remove it. If you make a mistake, use a paper towel to try and lift the paint away from the glass while it is still wet. For enamel paint, it may help to use a little paint thinner.
Specially made glass paint is formulated to stick to glass, and there are many brands out there that make it. Other paints will not stick well, so it's best to use glass paint. Thanks! Are ordinary glass jars safe for baking?

Anime Glasses Reflection Effect. One other common trick when drawing anime glasses in is to use the reflection from the lances to not show the eyes at all. This can be done to give a character a serious, determined or even threatening look (especially if you draw the character with a dark background).
Because anime noses are often very simplified (especially in the front view) it might be a little tricky to correctly place that part of the glasses. If you place it too high or too low it might make it look like nose is too short or too long. Be aware of this when drawing.
In the above example the glasses are drawn over top of all head and facial features so that you can see exactly how they will be place on the head (as though the head is transparent).
For the front view (as the example above) of anime glasses draw them pretty much as you would draw real glasses while keeping all the things mentioned in the previous step in mind.
1. Use enamel paint for long-lasting decoration. There are several different types of enamel paint that will give you different final appearances. All of them will take some time to dry fully but should stay on your glass for a long time once they have set.
Here are a few different types of enamel paint you could choose from: Gloss enamel paints will give you the thickest coat and result in a more opaque finish. Frosted glass enamel paints will give a much lighter coat for a slight hint of color. Crystal gloss enamels will provide you with something in between the two.
Gesso is a combination of a binder and white powder that will make nearly any surface easily paintable. Use a base coat of gesso with top coats of acrylic paint for a totally opaque finished glass painting. Gesso and acrylic paints will work best on bottles, glasses, or other containers with interesting shapes.
Although the paint you are using should be non-toxic, it may chip or come off with repeated use. Use a strip of masking tape to cover the top inch (2.4 cm) of the drinking glass and keep you from painting over it.
If you don’t feel confident in your painting ability, try using glass paint markers instead. These may be easier to work with than paint and paintbrushes.
You can also use tape to cover any area you don’t want to paint over. Try making angled lines across the glass and painting across them to create some funky, transparent patterns.
1. Clean and dry the glass surface. Use warm water and soap to remove any oil or fingerprints left on the glass, as these can prevent the paint from sticking or being applied evenly to the glass. Be careful not to get any more fingerprints or oil on the glass as you clean it.
