The third season aired from October 3 to December 19, 2020. A fourth season is set to premiere in 2022. Additionally, a spin-off light novel series titled Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?
They have to fight the local monsters found inside the dungeon in order to get the loot to drop, and in the process they level up, gain experience and become stronger. Pretty simple.
The Dungeon appeared suddenly alongside various gods and godesses who decended upon the world, losing much of their powers but now can act directly within the world. Which beats living in cloud city where nothing happens. In one of the 2 genuinely interesting parts of this endeavor, a god/godess can bless humans to have them enter their familia.
The season was originally scheduled to premiere in July 2020, but was delayed to October 3, 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The third season adapts volumes nine to eleven of the light novel.
July 23, 2022The fourth season is scheduled to premiere on July 23, 2022, and will run for 22 episodes. The opening theme for the fourth season is "Tentō" by sajou no hana, and the ending theme is "Guide" by Saori Hayami.

DanMachi: Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? On the Side - Sword Oratoria
Commonly known as the "Dungeon," the city of Orario possesses a huge labyrinth in the underground. Its strange name attracts excitement, illusions of honor, and hopes of romance with a pretty girl. In this city of dreams and desires, new adventurer Bell Cranel has his fateful encounter with the tiny Goddess Hestia.
Apart from the initial episode, when the first monster bled all over Bell, all subsequent monsters killed in this series all die rather bloodlessly.
What is the Brazilian Portuguese language plot outline for Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka (2015)?
Over time, he finds a couple of companions to join his group and continues his adventure. In both animes adventurers gain money by killing monsters.
Where the shows diverge is how they decide to depcict this adventure. Dungeon has elements of comedy, romance, not to mention a harem of girls for our bashful protagonist Bell. In Goblin Slayer there is much more focuse on the dangers of adventure and none of the naive expectations of fun. Goblin Slayer is much more graphic and realistic in its depiction of violence that naturally follows our characters. Be warned it is not for the queasy, especially the first episode which features sexual abuse. Dungeon is much more shonen and Goblin Slayer is more seinen to put it simply.
There are many anime I could recommend that are similar to Shield Hero in many respect s, given that Seiyu is a vast genre. DANMACHI, as it's called in shorthand (Is it wrong to try to pick up girls in a dungeon?) is more dungeon centric but, like shield hero, has an MC following the hero-2-zero path. Like SH it si filled with fantastical monsters, demi humans, also elves and even demigods. If you enjoy yhebmore comedic situations and also subtle harem antics, you'll love it.
The series have the adventure, dungeons (floors), love story and more in common. Both anime series are set in a non-realistic world and I recommend to watch both of them if you love game or role-play styled anime series.
In SAO they are trapped in a game and most of the arcs following are about RPG games. Then DanMachi has a very RPG feel, like the dungeon and levelling up, in a way the joining up with a goddess is like joining a guild.
In the city of Orario, there’s a vast labyrinth underground. It’s simply called—the Dungeon. From all around the world, this Dungeon attracts adventurers that hope to one day defeat it. Hopes of overwhelming power, treasures, and love awaits! Gods and goddesses even built guilds to accommodate adventurers.
As realistic as it could get, Hai to Gensou no Grimgar hits the spot! A group of youths wake up in the middle of nowhere with no knowledge of why they are even there.
Solo Leveling is the most similar with DanMachi though it is a manhwa. Kuronuma on May 10, 2020: OMG DANMACHI IS MY FAVORITE ANIME. Somebody on May 09, 2020: I watched most to these. Haven't watched Overlord so that's the one I chose but, unpopular opinion, I really liked Zero no Tsukaima. Definitely watch it.
Adaptation-wise, Danmachi is honestly pretty rushed as it spans a whole 5 light novel volumes in just 13 episodes. Yet despite that I never really felt like it was too much of a problem. Somehow, someway even from an anime-only standpoint the plot feels perfectly coherent and understandable. In fact as far as enjoyment value goes I'd even say I liked the anime *more* than the novels, because a) the fight scenes come across better animated, and b) Hestia's character is *way* more likeable in the anime. Yes, there is a lot of content from the novels that is skipped, but it feels like it didn't hurt the overall story very much to leave it out either, so it works out anyway. The only thing the anime occasionally lacks is some proper explanations of certain skills' and items' functionalities, but other than that I don't have a whole lot to complain about.
his dream. And his motive is none other than to protect what he holds dear and to stand on the same ground as his long-sided crush, Ais Wallenstein. The rumored strongest adventurers in history. And along the way to achieving his dream, Bell meets with Hestia, a lonely goddess who is searching for followers. Thus, begins the birth of an oddly yet lovely paired duo in the history of DanMachi.
Danmachi is a textbook example of an anime that is truly a guilty pleasure in its own right. It doesn't have the most impressive writing, there are tons of clichés and fanservice, and the pacing is sometimes questionable but even so it never ever fails to be entertaining, which is something I can't say for most anime.
The difference this time however is that... it actually doesn't. Instead, the story takes place in the characters' real world, but their real world functions like a game.
It might be slow-paced and while the series might not be the best one in its genre , at least it tried to become one of the best with its mix of spectacular action moments, lovely graphics, and good character development. In the end, the story itself is more than a blessing with a never-ending twist to watch.
It doesn't matter where you look, you're bound to bump into a couple of anime elves. Some of them are mischievous, others are kind and a few of them are just magical. They come in all sizes and live in diverse worlds. Come on in, it's time to meet some interesting characters!
All-in-all, Danmachi is far from a masterpiece, yet given the premise I think it delivers a lot more than most people probably expected coming into it. The story has most definitely been done before, but Danmachi adds its own twist to it and more importantly it does it *well*. It goes to show that with proper execution, a time-tested concept is still perfectly viable, and as a result it provides an anime that always leaves you with a smile on your face. Call it generic or shallow or whatever, but that doesn't change the fact that it's easily one of the most entertaining anime of the year thus far. And really, when it all comes down to it... that's essentially all that matters.
