- Draw the ears fairly long as a large part of them will be covered by the hair in later steps. Make the overall shape of the ears curve outwards from the head and then back towards one another. You can also add some tiny splits on the ends of the ears to show that they are covered by fur.
Step 3 – Position The Facial Features
- Place the facial features as shown in the above example. The proportions used are the same as for most other tutorials here on AnimeOutline. - To make the ears look a little more interesting and wolf like add some fur/fluff sticking out of them. Draw the fur in random sized clumps pointing in slightly different directions.

- At this stage you should have a pretty much finished basic outline of the character so you can move on to some of the smaller details. Step 7 – Finish The Line Drawing
- To finish the line drawing add the collar bones and a hint of the clothes. In this case the clothes will be lined with fur to again emphasize the wolf like character. Step 8 – Apply Color
- You can color the character with whatever colors you prefer but for this example we will go with grey for the ears and a blue (with a bit of grey in it) for the hair/eyes/eyebrows.
