Instead of freehand drawing the body, create a simple grid of lines and make horizontal lines that are spaced accurately between the shoulder, chest, waist, hips, and knees. Then, make small circles at the joints and draw a line to form the outline of the body.

Step 1 – Anime Boy’s Body Proportions Breakdown. To make a character look younger you will usually want to draw them more slender than their older counterpart. Muscular characters will automatically tend to look older. A good way to measure the body is by using the head.
To help you can start your drawing by first making a vertical line through what will later be the middle of the body.
Anime boy full body drawing step by step. The boy in this tutorial can be anywhere from 10-15 years old. Depending on the artists style sometimes older anime characters can be drawn to still look fairly young. Generally the more stylized the characters the younger they tend to look (Chibi for example).
If you want to draw the body from different views but in the same position then you can project a set of lines from one view to the other. This will help you make sure that the proportions of the body in both views are roughly the same.
In this case the shadows will be on the neck from the head and on the arms and legs from the sleeves of the shirt and the shorts.
For this tutorial the boy will be six and a half heads tall.
Draw the shorts starting from the bottom of the shirt (pretty much touch ing the legs) and then fanning out slightly as they go down.
1. Use a pencil and draw a stick figure. Draw an egg shape for the head and then draw the rest of the body using lines. You should be able to find the pose you like easier this way. Keep the limbs of the body proportioned with the head, so that the head is not too big for the body.
Focus on making the face more round and the eyes young. Babies and children tend to have baby fat, so their bodies will have more circles than straight lines. The head will also be bigger in proportion to the body, which will give them a cuter look. Take a look at some chibis for a good (but exaggerated) example.
This is the bottom of 3rd circle.Draw a small circle for the belly button
Draw two inverted triangles from rib cage line. From there two lines nearly straight down to the bottom of the 3rd circle.
The crotch line is the bottom of 4th circle. Draw two lines inverted downwards to the bottom of the 4th circle.
From the top of the 4th circle down to the knee line. The line down should be a slight curve down. The inside lines should be angled to the crotch
From knees draw legs down to the bottom of the 8th circle. The lower legs line should curve out a bit for the calves and then become slim around the ankle
Then from the elbow down to just below the crotch line. Draw circles for hands
Sketch features and hair onto your figure’s head. Place the eyes just below the center of the circle add eyebrows slightly above them. Add the nose and eyes below the eyes in the middle of the face. Choose a hairstyle for your anime character and draw it in clumps rather than individual strands.
1. Draw a head at the top of your paper. Place a circle near the top center of the page so there’s enough room to add hair later on. Put the point of the chin slightly outside the bottom edge of the circle since the jaw will come lower down.
Your anime girl’s shoulders should be about 1 ½ times wider than the head.
Sketch an hourglass shape with 2 circles in it for the torso. Draw the top line of the hourglass shape slightly below the chin to form the shoulders. Draw curved lines going toward the center line, and flare out the bottom of the hourglass shape so it’s slightly wider than the shoulders for the hips.
Be careful not to erase the outline for your character or else you’ll have to redraw it.
Warning: Be careful not to draw the head too large or else you won’t be able to fit the rest of the body on the sheet of paper.
You can draw mitten shapes if you don’t want to add fingers right away to your character’s hands.
