0:5824:56How To Draw SIMPLE FEET IN ANIME MANGA with ... - YouTubeYouTubeStart of suggested clipEnd of suggested clipThis leg is coming down doing its own thing you get to about where the ankle is and you need to getMoreThis leg is coming down doing its own thing you get to about where the ankle is and you need to get a foot on there well the basic shapes I use are to start with the heel.
Start by drawing the head without any of the small details. In the front view you can draw a circle to help you get the shape of the top of the head. In the side view it will be a slight oval. For more on drawing anime heads and faces see: How to Draw an Anime Girl’s Head and Face.
Start by drawing some lines that indicate each item of clothing. Draw these lines in smooth curves that hug the shape of the body.
Anime girl leg structure. The legs should be about half the length of the entire body. The feet (when drawing the side view) should be about as long as the distance from the wrists to the elbow. For more on drawing the legs see: How to Draw Female Anime Legs Tutorial.
If we were doing a more realistic looking style the body would be about as wide as two heads side by side (not including the hair). But since we are drawing anime draw the head slightly bigger than that so the body will be smaller in comparison.
One of the most important thing to keep in mind when drawing the full figure is the proportions or the relation of one body part to another. Everything has to be the right size or your character will look odd.
The shape of the body (when drawing the front view) should be similar to an hourglass.
If you are drawing two views at once you can add the horizontal lines to make sure that the different body parts match up in both views. Drawing both views at once is a good exercise. If you are good at drawing one particular body part in one view but not so much in another this can help you.
To do this by draw a horizontal line through the middle of the face and draw the eyes below that line. Space the eyes so that you can fit another eye between them.
Draw the ears pretty much as you would with most other anime styles. Draw the top of the ears to align with the top of the eyes and the bottom of the ears to align with the bottom of the nose.
Be sure to make light lines for the initial stages of the drawing so that you can easily erase parts of them later. The lines in the examples are dark simply so that you can see them. You can go over your drawing with darker lines after you are sure everything is in the right place and after you erase all o the guide lines and parts of the face that will be hidden by the hair.
Position the nose as you would for a traditional looking anime character with the bottom of the nose being between the chin and the horizontal halfway point through the face. (again same as other tutorials here on AnimeOutline).
Realistic anime head drawing. Anime characters generally have fairly round faces. The bottom portion of an anime face is commonly drawn with two major sets of lines, one going down from the top of the head to around the mouth area and one more from there to the chin.
To better understand how to draw the hair it can also be very helpful to think of it as being split into tree parts (as shown in the example above): 1 Red – Front Hair 2 Green – Side Hair 3 Blue – Back/Top Hair
You can leave the smaller details of the eyes such as the pupils reflections and eyelashes for later after you insure that all of the other facial features are correctly placed. For an explanation of why you want to draw this way as well as other anime related drawing advice see:
Female anime legs shape. In the front view the legs sort of curve inwards towards the center of the body and then curve outwards and back inwards past the knees. In the side view the legs curve backwards and then forwards from the knees down.
Female anime leg curves. Generally female legs are a set of fairly smooth curves (especially so in the anime and manga style). Though different anime characters can have different looking legs (thinner, thicker, muscular, etc…) you can use the above above illustration as an example of some general curves of the legs.
This tutorial covers the basics of the shape and proportions of anime and manga style legs legs. As already mentioned anime legs are often the same as real legs. This means that if you ever need more reference for drawing legs in a particular position you can always look at some real photos.
