Unboxing, location, displaying, and many other factors that you don’t consider can harm the figures or decrease their value. Especially after you spent quite a bit of money on the them.

The issue with unboxing is that it can decrease it’s sell value incredibly. This isn’t the case with every collector, for the purpose of getting figures is to put them on display. Unboxing though would get the collectors who want the original box are lost as potential buyers.

Always best to display them in a room you spend the most time in really. If you spend most of the time in the living room then that is where they belong. If you have a gaming or study room then that is a great place also. Generally it is best to put them right where you can easily look over your shoulder or on your desk in front of you.
