So are we. Anime Expo is the largest anime con around, with over 100,000 fans in attendance.
Remember, there’s only so much time in a day (or weekend). We work very hard to bring a wide variety of events, panels, and activities to Anime Expo. As much as we’d love to share them all with all of our attendees, it’s likely that you won’t be able to do or see everything.

Ages 14-17: Anyone 14 and older must purchase a 4-day or 1-day general attendee badge. Attendees under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult to pick up their badge. We recommend attendees ages 14-17 have a parent or guardian close by for the duration of the event.
English speakers often pronounce anime as Ah-nee-mey, but this an anglicization of the word. The correct pronunciation of anime is Ah-nee-meh. The difference is that the final syllable is not pronounced with an "ey" sound, but it is pronounced with a short "e", which is with an "eh" sound.
The history of anime can be traced back to the start of the 20th century, with the earliest verifiable films dating from 1917. The first generation of animators in the late 1910s included Ōten Shimokawa, Jun'ichi Kōuchi and Seitaro Kitayama, commonly referred to as the "fathers" of anime.
April 15The reason for celebrating National Anime Day as an annual event on April 15 is that anime has grown in popularity over the past few decades.
Bring the following with you: QR Code Confirmation (email printout, PDF via your phone, or ShowClix mobile app) Valid, government-issued photo ID (i.e. Drivers License, Passport, Military ID, etc.) If you are under 18, please bring your parent or legal guardian with you to pick up your badge.
Absolutely, in fact the majority of attendees don't do cosplay for the event. And if this is your first time, it may be for the best if you opt for comfort over creativity. If you have a relevant t-shirt, Comic-Con is a great place to wear it.
As cosplay has become more mainstream and accessible, people have been able to enter the world of costume creation at younger ages. On average, cosplayers wear their first costume to a convention at age 21. However, there is no age limit for cosplay.

This is gonna be my second Anime Expo that day k going to and I'm super excited!! I'm planning on buying a Wano Arc Law cosplay to go in. If anyone wants to hangout during the La Expo let me know!!!
Am located overseas but noticed a creator I adore will be boothing at AX 🥺 I was hoping to get my hands on one of the pieces she will be selling there. Help appreciated - will most definitely tip for your trouble, and cover the mailing fee of course. Thank you! ❤️
I'm only asking because I registered/applied to be an exhibitor a while back and haven't gotten any sort of response from them. I'd have liked an email saying I was turned down, so I won't have to be antsy over making preparations. Unfortunately, it's just radio silence.
I have a Premier Badge and I can no longer attend. I am looking to recoup my money. Dm me if you’re interested in buying it.
I don't see a link in the confirmation e-mail when registering premiere and I'm starting to worry since booking is in an hour. What was the title of the email with the link to the hotel booking site for premiere or was that e-mail not sent out?
Figured I would ask! If anyone doesn't need their Premiere Badge hotel code, I'm coming in from out of state and would greatly appreciate it. I would even be willing to pay if the blocks are still open and I can get a room. DM me if you want, thank you!
