This week, it was officially announced that Crunchyroll was being made available on the Nintendo Switch with both online and offline anime streaming. Anime fans around the world are as diverse as the series we love and adore; however, the medium by which we watch anime also remains diverse.

While both anime streaming libraries are large, Crunchyroll's is substantially larger with more than 1,200 shows compared to Funimation's more than 600.
And not only does it have more, it provides the fastest turnaround time too. So if you prefer to watch your anime in English, Funimation may be a better bet. Now, if you're fine with subtitles, Crunchyroll has more with its larger catalog, manga, and foreign content.

Funimation will continue to stream new episodes of existing Winter 2022 series, but all new series will be streaming on Crunchyroll , including all new titles within the Spring anime season.
AnimeLab is the type of content. After using both for a while, I can assure you that both services suit different types of audiences. Crunchyroll focuses on the subtitles, so you are most likely to find more subbed content. It is a place for the digital manga, which AnimeLab does not offer.
Because CR doesn't have a license to show the series there. There can be a number of reasons for that, including (but not limited to) the publisher selling the license to it for that country to another company.

Funimation vs Crunchyroll: Anime content While Crunchyroll's humongous anime library hands down the winner, there's more to the anime on Funimation. Furthermore, both Funimation and Crunchyroll have their exclusives; however, when it comes to individuality, Funimation tends to focus on English anime dubs.
