In The Day I Became God, it was the end of the world. Like his prior anime, the story is much more complicated than just a gimmick. If you noticed the 1/10 score, you could guess this is his worst one yet. Maeda’s tropes and cliches were passable in 2010, nowadays this anime is a relic.

She and the therapist watched Yota being escorted away across the front grounds, and suddenly, Hina tried out Yota's name as "Yoha." Amazed, Yota stops and turns around, and Hina cries out that she loves him (as a friend), and she doesn't want to say good-bye.
It is later slowly revealed, that she is in fact, not a god, but a girl who should have died due to a rare hereditary disease called "Logos Syndrome", but due to some almost miraculous circumstance, recovers from it.
The series ran for 12 episodes, and it was released on six Blu-ray and DVD volumes from December 23, 2020 to May 26, 2021 in Japan.

The music was used to set up dumb gags rather than facilitate genuinely emotional scenes, so often that by the end the audience can’t trust the music that they hear . There was nothing particularly memorable about the music outside the context of the anime either. It was about as ordinary as it could be.

The story was a complete waste of time. Jun Maeda’s works are infamous for having throwaway episodes that don’t advance the plot or develop character, even a 12 episode series, and then trying to cram the “main plot” into a handful of episodes at the end.
Dressed in a conspicuous outfit and armed with an eccentric spirit, Hina Satou goes around insisting that she is the Asgardian god "Odin." When she crosses paths with a boy named Youta Narukami, she uses her precognition abilities to warn him about an impending catastrophe threatening the end of the world.
Kamisama ni Natta hi is the third original anime written by Jun Maeda after Angel Beats in 2010 and Charlotte in 2015. Moreover, Yoshiyuki Asai, the director for Charlotte returns as this series' director.
