The openings and endings were amazing. However, it certainly lacked in some areas because of excessive use of filler and poor pacing in some areas. Which is why I hope Bleach gets passed to a new studio when it returns. Bleach is not a bad anime. In fact it is one of the best anime to watch.
Do you enjoy watching it? → Yes → It's worth watching. It's not worth watching. Bleach filler is atleast fun and cute, not just rehashed older storylines with new characters. Reddit's premier anime community.
Yes its binge worthy. It has a total if 366 episodes out of which there are 163 filler episodes.
Taito Kubo made the plot accessible. The manga shows battles one-on-one to help the reader focus on less things, and the easy-to-follow storytelling is the fourth greatest thing about BLEACH. The manga is easy to read, and the anime is easy to watch. The pictures and art are well-composed, and so is the story.
Yes it is, Bleach is easily better than Naruto. Bleach is better, i think. Far better characters, better soundtrack, better animation. Story's a bit meh overall and the filler episodes are so bad, i just skip them entirely but it's still comfortably superior.
Sengoku Basara: Samurai Kings is an anime that's based on a series of action games made by Capcom in the mid-2000s. Much like Inuyasha and Bleach, Samurai Kings features a cavalcade of crazy fight scenes and a massive cast of characters.
The Big Three refers to three very long and very popular anime, Naruto, Bleach and One Piece. The Big Three was a term used to describe the three most popular running series during their golden age in Jump's mid 2000s period - One Piece, Naruto and Bleach.
There were way too many fillers and that was due to the anime catching up with the manga. Maybe the producers for the anime didn't want to keep spending money on a show that didn't have anything to do with the manga because no one was really watching it.
Bleach is a better anime according to me as dragon Ball whole series is a bit childish. In dragon Ball it is all about brute strength and fighting with no logic. That anime may have more fan following because of the fact it is publicized more than bleach.
Both are great but Bleach. It has better art and characters design, Main protagonist's journey and way to become an experienced characters is great. And of course side characters are more important than One Piece. I would suggest One Piece over Bleach.
Bleach is among the top anime series of all time, but its manga version deserves recognition, too. Here's where it excels over the anime. There was a time when the Big Three used to reign supreme in the realm of shonen manga. Out of these three, One Piece is the only series still going strong to this day...

There are few adventure anime as grandiose and large as Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. For those that loved One Piece for telling the story of friends on an adventure, then Gurren Lagann is a great recommendation.
Bleach’s plot is unique because it introduces the concept of Soul Reapers or Shinigami which is relevant to certain aspects of Japanese religion and culture.
Bleach (Burīchi) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Tite Kubo. This shonen action manga series revolves around the main character Ichigo Kurosaki after he obtains the powers of a Soul Reaper named Rukia Kuchiki. The powers and duties of a Soul Reaper are basically the personifications of death.
As a Soul Reaper, her responsibility is to send good spirits to the afterlife known as Soul Society and to purify Hollows such as the one attacking Ichigo and his sisters. The Hollows that are purified are then sent up to Soul Society.
This action, in turn, transforms him into a Soul Reaper.
Ichigo Kurosaki. His character is described to be stubborn, short-tempered, strong-willed, and impulsive. When it comes to fighting, Ichigo has a complex sense of honor; he regularly seeks to exact revenge for the cruel actions of his opponent. (b).
The series primarily takes place in the town of Karakura where Ichigo Kurasaki resides and the Soul Society. Bleach is set in a world where Soul Reapers exist in a realm called the Soul Society.
The powers and duties of a Soul Reaper are basically the personifications of death. Ichigo’s brand-new powers force him to take on the duties of defending humans from evil spirits and guiding departed souls to the afterlife. The anime has been featured various times in the top ten from the Japanese TV Ranking. Bleach.
Another problem with Bleach is that a lot of things feel inconsequential. Until the Thousand Year War arc, it was a running gag that people just didn't die in Bleach. A character could lose their limbs or get stabbed all the way through their body but still be fine.
While the Aizen reveal flows naturally into the Arrancar Arc in Bleach, it's at this moment that other problems arise. The Soul Society arc introduces a ton of new characters for very good reason: Ichigo and friends had just arrived in a whole new world so it makes sense to introduce a new world of characters. Just as we're coming to know this new set of characters, however, Kubo introduces the Arrancar -- again, more new characters who we're supposed to know and understand very quickly. While some of the Arrancar (Grimmjow and Ulquiorra especially) are important to the plot and very memorable, far too many others clutter the story's focus, taking attention away from the core conflict.
Ichigo is a good protagonist -- the problem is that he just feels lost in the cast he leads. The core cast of characters fans fell in love with in the early chapters and episodes of Bleach come to feel increasingly less important.
The narrative works when it's focused. Sadly, Bleach loses that focus right after this point, both in the anime and manga.
Sadly, Bleach loses that focus right after this point, both in the anime and manga. In the anime, the Soul Society arc is shortly followed by the Bount Arc, a filler season that completely deflates the tension of the reveal before. By the time Aizen's Arrancars show up to wreak havoc, audiences would've spent just as much time with ...
BLEACH: A MATTER OF FOCUS. The core of Bleach' s story is terrific. It flows from plot point to plot point beautifully. When broken down, Bleach sounds epic, with Ichigo stumbling into one new conflict after another, each one building off the other.
Then take Chad, one of Ichigo's core group in the early episodes who, ultimately, has little impact on the plot following the Soul Society arc. Finally, there's Ichigo himself. Many people have argued that central heroes like Ichigo aren't interesting compared to the likes of Luffy or Goku. This isn't necessarily the case.
Before its cancelation in the 2010s, the Bleach anime did have its merits, including an exotic and memorable soundtrack and solid English dub voice acting, as opposed to One Piece 's notorious 4Kids dub for example.
The returning Bleach anime will help finish the canceled series after all this time, though for now, the manga remains the only way to experience the entire story. Even if all goes well, the anime will need years to catch up, and impatient fans don't want or need to wait that long.
