One Piece celebrated its twentieth serialization anniversary on July 19, 2017. By that account, One piece manga will probably end in 2025-2026. Well i don't think it will end soon. But creator oda said in one of his interviews that he has taken one piece long enough maybe in 4 5 years he will end it.

Although the anime has done commendable job at many places, yet the anime today is quite bad. It has made a lot of scenes loose its effect.
Like, I mentioned above, the manga is the official and the only source for true information . The anime is merely an adaptation to it. But, just because of that doesn’t mean the anime is a shit. The WCI is a pure proof of it, considering how well the anime adapted BM.
They could go to the ultimate level of laziness and still be able to air the show with fair viewer counts and sell merchandise. So, one piece anime is a Cash Cow and the makers will continue milking it without putting much efforts into making the animation.
