Nope. Kawaki said that has sent Naruto somewhere, so if he dies he'll probably be revived. Or he made it till boruto shippuden (the end).
So long as the anime is a bit behind the manga, Boruto could easily run a full 220 episodes like Naruto did before Naruto: Shippuden took over. And, if Boruto does well enough, then it isn't crazy to think it could be broken up into a two-part sequel.
Manga and anime to go on hiatus in 2022: One Piece, Boruto, and more.
Boruto: Naruto Next Generations anime will not get Boruto Shippuden as “Shippuden,” meaning strong wind, relates to Naruto only. Although, following the same pattern Boruto might get Boruto: Raiden, which means thunder.
The manga is handled by Kishimoto's former chief assistant Mikio Ikemoto and written by Ukyo Kodachi. Ikemoto recently held an interview to celebrate the launch of Shueisha's Manga Plus program, ...
Originally created by Masashi Kishimoto, Naruto ran in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump for 700 chapters.
The story follows a young ninja, with a sealed demon within him, that wishes to become the leader of his home village. The sequel, Boruto: Naruto Next Generations is set several years after the events of the original Naru to story and features the children of many of its key characters such as Naruto and Hinata.
Rather than conceive it a completely standalone series, he's still framing it within the Naruto story as a whole. Naruto fans should be excited to know that many of Boruto 's developments will still be within the original Naruto series instead of branching off into its own 70 volume franchise.
Opening 10 begins with a Konoha headband lying on the ground, almost protectively encircling a sapling, transitioning into sunlight breaking through an overcast sky over Konoha, and finally settling over the new generation of Konoha shinobi, as they start watching towards the light.
The opening has a few interesting implications, beginning with the sapling and the headband. The young Leaf shinobi, protected by the Konoha headband, seems indicative of Kawaki finally finding a home and beginning his journey as a Leaf village shinobi.
The entire Himawari segment seems to be anime canon, but this arc holds the promise of launching into the next major manga arc towards its end.
But based on my perspective, Boruto will end up with Sumire. The reason is that Boruto respects and worries about her. He also trusts Sumire, saved her when she was mentally lost, and helped her to walk on her own path.
But now Boruto is about the boy who had everything and lost it all. Boruto will choose to go rouge just like his master Sasuke. He is a threat to everyone and to not cause any more damage, Boruto desertes the world to other dimensions in search of answers about the Ohtsuski clan.
Boruto is a brat because he's a spoiled brat and that's really it. He has no other reason for hating his dad or anything, he's just spoiled, and when Naruto has to take care of thousands of people, and paying for him and his family, Boruto blames him. 2)His skill set is stupid.
If they'll get married, they'll both become Uchiha. (Just like Ino and Sai when Sai had no surname while Ino is Yamanaka, when they got married, they both became Yamanaka.) If Boruto will end up with Sarada, Sarada will become an Uzumaki and Sasuke's desire will end.
Also, if BoruSara were to happen, they will have an OP child in time of peace lol. So really, there's no need for more OP characters because in the Boruto series, I think they might finish the Otsutsuki king in the end. In short, for me, Boruto will end up with Sumire while Sarada will end up with Kawaki.
Although for Boruto, she's not a girl, she was close to him and directly looking him in the eyes with seriousness. Boruto can't deny that because she's still a girl. Also, if you think about it in the original series, Hinata and Naruto also had a little interaction but in the end, they got married.
The ending for Boruto isn’t as predictable as Naruto’s ending was. We saw that Kawaki had destroyed Konoha and only Boruto was visible in fighting him so we don’t know where Sarada, Mitsuki, and all the others from Boruto’s generation, Naruto’s generation, and Kakashi’s generation even are.
