While jokes highlighting intentionally sexual camera angles in anime have been circulated before, [1] [2] primarily in reference to Sword Art Online anime series, the first meme featuring the dialogue "Don't you think camera angles in anime can be a little weird" was posted by Tumblr user incorrecsaoquotes based on a Sword Art Online scene on July 20th, 2015 (shown below).
