Reception. Inuyasha has been popular within Japanese fans. In the Newtype magazine from August 2001, he was voted as the second best male character losing to Spike Spiegel from Cowboy Bebop. In 2002, Inuyasha won the Animage Anime Grand Prix for Best Male Character.
Kagome Higurashi is the main female protagonist of the anime and manga series Inuyasha. She is also the main love interest (later wife) of Inuyasha. She has a daughter with him named Moroha who is one of the protagonists of the series Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon.

KikyoKikyo is one of the major characters of the anime and manga series, Inuyasha. She was the original first love interest of Inuyasha and the secret obsession of the evil Naraku.

Soon, Kagome is eighteen years old and was able to return to the feudal era, marries Inuyasha, and is adapting to her new, permanent life in the feudal era as Inuyasha's beloved wife.   The two girls act like sisters toward each other, and often discuss secrets and feelings amongst themselves.
