This series did have good animation. There were a few decent characters. The satirical nature this story had towards the isekai genre wasn't outstanding, but it was appreciated. There were problems with the overall execution, so it can't be said this was the worst anime of 2019.
Masato Oosuki Mamako loves Masato dearly, and is incredibly doting and protective of him. While the two were extremely close when Masato was younger, they have since grown apart as Masato entered his teenage years, with Mamako claiming that he barely talks to her anymore.
Wise is the typical tsundere with a superiority complex. She talks big and acts harshly or violently towards Masato whenever she's flustered or embarrassed. However, she does care about her fellow party members and is grateful to them for helping her sort out her relationship with her mother.

She carries two powerful swords that further add to her magical abilities.
