In response, Korosensei softly places a tentacle on his cheek and tells that he wants Nagisa to kill him with a smile on his face. After giving each other their final farewells, Korosensei is stabbed in the heart, and his body dissipated into numerous light particles.
Assassination ClassroomA destructive alien who is threatening Earth becomes a schoolteacher whose students are tasked with killing him, even though they adore his fun ways.
This is what forced the students to kill their teacher after they finally resolved not to, and while it was somewhat satisfying to finally see these students accomplish what they'd been trying to for most of the series, the reminder that Koro-Sensei's death wasn't really protecting anyone just made his assassination ...
The government was all set to kill him with their Spear of Heaven, a weapon that would promptly destroy only tentacled creatures and nothing else. However, it was best for the plot that the character was killed by the students and that's what he had wanted as well.
The series is rated for older teens, but the covers with their bright colors and smiling face might attract younger readers and parents who would associate with other titles that are rated for them. In the end, Goku seems most likely to win, if only because of Koro-sensei's eagerness to coach his opponents. Goku's experience with alien invaders and mutated creatures with absurd regeneration would provide him with an edge to begin with, while Koro-sensei mostly has experience with ordinary humans.
Knowing that his time has come, Koro-Sensei allows his students to hold him down, and allows Nagisa to deliver the killing blow.
