Kido is portrayed as a laid back somewhat lazy detective, he follows his own kind of justice system where he often let's thugs go because he understands they're just kids having their own kind of fun and that most of them are troubled.
When Detective Kido first met Baki he could sense that the boy was a troubled youth simply by the look on Baki's face. He knew that Baki was a boy that did a lot of fighting in order to prove himself, and felt that he needed someone to be there for him, so he decided to stick close to Baki and keep an eye on him.
Kido is often seen visiting Baki throughout the series simply to check in on him and see that he is okay, he also quite frequently stands outside Baki's home and smokes until Baki returns and tells him to make sure he picks up his cigarette butts.

genderlessCrona, in both adaptations, is genderless. Wether we like it or not, Crona's neither a he or a she, Crona's an it. Every hint leading to Crona having a gender is just Ohkubo messing with us- it's a joke- because not even he knows nor cares.
Black☆Star appears as a teenage, young man with bright, blue spiky hair with the spikes sticking in out in the manner similar to that of a star. He's also somewhat short, being shorter than his weapon partner Tsubaki Nakatsukasa. He's also well built for his age.

Desiring to become a God of Absolute Order, Death would cut his "fears" loose from himself and turns his fears into the fragment and first born son: Asura. Throughout Asura's life, he would be trained with his father being his master.
This worked for a while, but eventually, the English dub hit its end once again on December 6, 2008, after reaching episode 104. Finally, Zatch Bell! officially ended once and for all when Viz discontinued the manga on June 9, 2009; after reaching 25 volumes.

Kido. Kido (called Kid in the original and spelled Kedo in the VIZ manga translation) is a lanky child mamodo who wears a blue jumpsuit with a K on it. He is partly robotic, which is shown in his various spells which involve weapons and changing the size of his body part. His spell power also happens to be machinery and artillery.
He is later seen in the library with Zaruchim, Sugino, Momon, Zabas, Robnos, and Furigaro. Kido is voiced by Brianne Siddall in the English version and by Akemi Okamura in the Japanese original.
His spell power also happens to be machinery and artillery. Personality-wise, he is childish, cocky, and very gullible, show cased by a common scene in which Kido explains something with a lie Dr. Riddles had previously made up, and is utterly shocked when Dr. Riddles revealed he had been "kidding".
He manages to read the spell book that Kido had presented him with and an excited Kido tells him to go outside so that he could be made the mamodo king, adding that it would be a waste if Dr. Riddles doesn't, since he knew so much.
Kido appears again to aid Zatch Bell in his battle against Clear, using his strongest spell, "Mikoruo Shin Zegaruga" to destroy the fragments of Clear's severed tail, telling Zatch not to lose focus.
In the battle with the Ancient Mamodo in South America, their final battle was with Belgim E.O., unlocking a new spell, Mikor Ma Zegaruga. After the battle, Dr Riddles was still upset and grieving over Kido.
