What are the meanings behind the characters’ names?
The Group in General
The Day of Days is the eighteenth episode of InuYasha The Final Act. With her spiritual powers sealed by Magatsuhi, Kagome is left unable to purify Kohaku's shard and thus, leaving Kikyō's light in the Shikon Jewel the only thing that can fight Naraku.
Despite an initial distaste for each other and complicated love triangles, Inuyasha and Kagome came to be an iconic anime couple. In the first episode Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon, Inuyasha and Kagome are a married couple, but their romance faced many obstacles over the course of the original Inuyasha anime.

Kagome HigurashiKagome Higurashi is the main female protagonist of the anime and manga series Inuyasha. She is also the main love interest (later wife) of Inuyasha. She has a daughter with him named Moroha who is one of the protagonists of the series Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon.
The Man Who Fell In Love With Kagome! is the thirty-seventh episode of the InuYasha anime.
In the final act, Inuyasha and Kagome realized that they were meant for each other and tied the knot, with Kagome later giving birth to their daughter, Moroha. The sequel series, Yashahime, will be focusing on a fourteen-year-old Moroha who is a demonic bounty hunter.
InuYasha's anime adaption is made of failure. There is no ending. People waiting for an ending after so long, get over it.
When Kagome and Inuyasha had Moroha, she was sent away as a baby to be kept safe from Kirinmaru, who seeks to destroy half-demons. Her parents were then sealed away inside the Black Rainbow Pearl, leaving Moroha to grow up without them.
So in conclusion, Inuyasha loved Kikyo when she was alive, but now he's with Kagome because he loves her too. And in the end, even Inuyasha knows himself that he belongs with Kagome more than with anyone else.
MorohaMoroha (もろは) is fourteen-years-old and the only daughter of Inuyasha and Kagome Higurashi, making her three-quarters human and quarter-demon.
As he spots a glimmer of light, Inuyasha uses his Tessaiga sword to break through and find Kagome. After fearing he may lose her forever, Inuyasha is overcome with relief and joy that he's able to reach her. He embraces her as they share their first kiss together.
Despite a past that makes him distrusting and wary of humans, Inuyasha grows attached to Kagome as they follow their shared mission to collect the Shikon Jewel shards in the Feudal Era.
While Kagome sleeps, he looks through her photo albums lying in her room in an effort to understand her better. The natural instinct to nurture sick loved ones reveals how worried Inuyasha is about Kagome's well-being.
When Kagome is stuck inside the Shikon Jewel later in InuYasha: The Final Act, the jewel tries to trick her into granting the wrong wish that will keep her trapped inside it forever. She tells the Shikon Jewel that she doesn't need a wish and she'd rather wait for Inuyasha to come save her. Placing her full faith in him, Inuyasha desperately tries to reach her. He yells out to her, but she can't hear him as he battles his way through to find a path out.
When Kagome is sick in her own modern time, Inuyasha visits her and tries to take care of her himself. He makes a Feudal-Era medicine from fresh ingredients he fought various demons to collect, hoping it would cure her cold.
After falling asleep at her desk, she wakes up to a blanket wrapped around her and Inuyasha in her room. Kagome asks Inuyasha if she'll be stronger once the seal on her spiritual powers is broken -- she wants to become strong in order to stay with everyone in the Feudal Era.
As he spots a glimmer of light, Inuyasha uses his Tessaiga sword to break through and find Kagome. After fearing he may lose her forever, Inuyasha is overcome with relief and joy that he's able to reach her. He embraces her as they share their first kiss together.
When Kagome leans on Inuyasha and asks to stay with him, he grabs her hand and promises her he'll protect her with his life. Grabbing her hand tighter, he leans in closer and tries to kiss her. When Kagome's younger brother interrupts their kiss, Inuyasha is visibly annoyed.
When Kagome does not bring food she buys from the market, they have to hunt, kill, and cook. She introduced instant noodles, bicycles, soda, and so much more to Inuyasha.
At the time it was running, Kikyo, Kagome , and Inuyasha were a widely discussed love triangle in the anime community. Though, it was pretty obvious with one Inuyasha was going to end up with. No surprises here guys, he ended up with Kagome in the end. However, fans still argue sometimes that he and Kikyo were a better couple.
Part of why Kikyo wanted to turn Inuyasha human was so the Sacred Jewel would disappear and she would finally be a free woman. She swore an oath to protect the Scared Jewel, and that made it so she could never get married, have a family, or do much else.
Kagome could be very immature at times. At the beginning of the show, in order to control Inuyasha before they become friends, she could say "sit" and a magical necklace would force him to the ground. It was understandable at the time since he was attacking her.
The only reason she is a character in the show is that she was brought back to life with magic, and its even debatable if her undead self is the same woman that he loved.
Since she was raised in the feudal era and had the guard a powerful item, Kikyo was a badass fighter. She was a demon slayer and could shoot an arrow with a lot of distance and precision. In this manner, she was an equal with Inuyasha. Kagome eventually got somewhat good with a bow, but never like Kikyo.
It is some Romeo and Juliet level narrative. That is what they mean. Kikyo was there before Kagome and she and Inuyasha went through a lot together. The more pain a couple goes through together sometimes just makes their love stronger.
Since their first meeting, Kagome hated Naraku for his evil, manipulative nature to the point of trying to kill him and stopping him as much as her companions. For his part, Naraku initially dismissed Kagome's power as Kikyō's reincarnation for most of the series, only worrying about her ability to sense the shards. However, after Kanna's mirror was defeated by Kagome's arrow, Naraku started to consider her a nuisance, trying to kill her several times and started to use her as a way of manipulating Inuyasha. By that time, Kagome started to wonder Naraku's real wish, much to the latter's curiosity.
The two girls act like sisters toward each other and often discuss secrets and feelings amongst themselves. Kagome, in the manga, says "Sango is my best friend, I will do anything to save her." Generally, whenever the two are bathing, they talk about what problems they have, such as their brothers or enemies. Sango and Kagome seem equally invested in each other's romantic relationships, as Kagome often confronts Miroku when Sango's feelings are hurt, and Sango does the same with Inuyasha, comforting her. In The Last Banquet of Miroku's Master, while intoxicated by the mist of sake, Sango comments that "three Kagomes is definitely a crowd", despite the fact that she cares for Kagome immensely. Coincidentally, both are the eldest child in their family, both are older sisters with younger brothers, both are skilled fighters against demons, both own a cat, and both get married, allowing their sibling-like friendship to develop further than that of most characters in the series.
Six months later, following her nineteenth birthday, a landslide occurs that sets free the Ne no Kubi a root demon that fought with Kikyō and was sealed by her and so Ne no Kubi was battled and fought Kagome and her friends, and she tells Inuyasha that he needs to trust her more as she does him.
Time Travel: Kagome could travel back and forth five hundred years between the Feudal Era and modern day Tokyo through an ancient well called the " Bone-Eater's Well .". Only she and Inuyasha were ever able to freely pass from one time to the other.
Kagome's heart is pure and kind, always rich and sometimes uncontrollable, which is strangely similar to Inuyasha 's lack of self-control. Because of her empathetic nature, she never hesitates to help those in need of it, treating all with warmth and respect. Even if she doesn't say a word, her feelings are easy to read due to her honest expressions, which cause those around her to soften in tough situations and be honest as well. The only dark part that Kagome ever had was her secret jealousy over Inuyasha's feelings towards her past life, but she eventually learns to be at peace with it and let go. Even with this, she wasn't without her flawed, quirky, and immature side, which is typical of her age.
Naraku sought out the help of a dark priestess named Tsubaki, a woman who had a longtime grudge against Kikyō; Naraku hoped that Tsubaki would be able to use her dark magic to kill Kagome and Inuyasha. Tsubaki has her shikigami, which takes the form of a serpent, bite Kagome, thus putting her under her spell. Using Naraku's massive Shikon Jewel shard, Tsubaki was able to defile the shards that Kagome had and forced the blackened shards into Kagome's body.
Meeting Kōga and encounters with Naraku's minions. After Kikyō took the Shikon Jewel shards from her, Kagome, Inuyasha and the gang met Tōtōsai, who was an old, close friend of Inuyasha's late father and also the creator of Tessaiga; he revealed his sword's technique Kaze no Kizu.
