Even though Naruto took the crown for overall filler material, it's clear from the chart that One Piece tends to drop actually drops in filler material more often, even if it has less filler overall. Bleach also scored a No. 2 spot for overall filler, which shouldn't be all that surprising to fans of that series.

Bleach and Naruto are without a doubt two of the most popular shonen anime and manga series of the past decade. However it's a little known fact that both series are heavily indebted to Yoshihiro Togashi, the man behind Yu Yu Hakusho and Hunter x Hunter.
Their both really good. Now you may say "Of course Bleach is better it's longer" but since I'm on episode 122 of Bleach thats about as long as HXH. Personally I think Bleach has better arcs. The Soul Society arc and the Arrancar arc (I guess you could call it that) are better than most HXH arcs.

Tite Kubo's earliest influence is from Shigeru Mizuki 's manga Gegege no Kitaro. He remembers trying to sketch its characters and found his own designs to be simpler then that of Mizuki's. Bleach was first conceived from a desire on Kubo's part to draw shinigami in kimono, which formed the basis for the design of the Shinigami in the series, and conception of the character Rukia Kuchiki. Kubo has cited influences for elements of Bleach ranging from other manga series to music, foreign language, architecture, and film. He attributes his interest in drawing the supernatural and monsters to Shigeru Mizuki's GeGeGe no Kitaro and Bleach ' s focus on interesting weaponry and battle scenes to Masami Kurumada 's Saint Seiya, both manga Kubo enjoyed as a boy. Kubo stated that Akira Toriyama 's Dragon Ball taught him that all villains must be "strong, scary and cool" without exception, and added that to this day no fight scene has shocked him more than Trunks ' first appearance. The action style and storytelling found in Bleach are inspired by cinema, though Kubo has not revealed any specific movie as being an influence for fight scenes. Kubo has also stated that he wishes to make Bleach an experience that can only be found by reading manga, and dismissed ideas of creating any live-action film adaptations of the series.
According to the author's commentary, Kubo was in a state of severe emotional trauma when he wrote it. Kubo later stated that he was not used to the magazine weekly serialization and used to pay more attention to his editor's comments rather than his own ideas.
Kubo mentions he sometimes is bored while illustrating them, so he tries to add a few jokes to make it more humorous. When creating characters, Kubo first attempts to create the design and later decide how the character's personality will be according to what he drew.
Kubo initially expected the series' serialization to continue no longer than five years . The original story concept was submitted to Weekly Shōnen Jump shortly after the cancellation of Zombiepowder, but was rejected. Akira Toriyama, creator of Dragon Ball, saw the story and wrote a letter of encouragement to Kubo.
Both of Kubo's serialized works are shōnen manga with a heavy focus on action . His fight scenes are noted for swift cuts and dramatic angle changes between panels, as well as minimal inclusion of background art or splash pages.
The manga was named a winner of the Shogakukan Manga Award for its category in 2004. Kubo and Makoto Matsubara have co-authored two novelizations of the Bleach series, which were published by Shueisha under their Jump Books label.
The creator was even hospitalized at some points for pain and overworking himself. Other manga creators have experienced similar work-related injuries, and it seems Kubo was ready to wrap up Bleach sooner rather than later because of such.
It has been more than a year since Bleach ended its manga, but fans continue to talk about the shonen series’ exit. After fifteen years, Tite Kubo let his acclaimed series end with Weekly Shonen Jump, but many wondered if the magazine and its publisher pushed the story to a premature end. However, thanks to a new interview with Kubo, ...

His biggest influences to become a manga artist were Saint Seiya by Masami Kurumada, due to the characters wearing armor and having interesting weapons, and Ge Ge Ge no Kitaro by Shigeru Mizuki. One of the most important relationships in Bleach is the bond between a Shinigami and their weapon, the Zanapkuto. Excluding Ichigo and Zangetsu, though, the closest a Shinigami got to a Zanpakuto was a guy talking to a sword. This changed in the Zanapukto: Alternate Tale arc, where Muramasa mounted the Zanpakuto Rebellion.

This changed with Ayame, who was only mentioned at best in the manga. She's a member of the Northern wolf clan and Koga’s betrothed. However, Koga seems to have forgotten this and developed feelings for Kagome – this after he said he was above falling for mortal humans.
The whole of Naruto is defined by the current ninja generation’s struggle to pave their own path and correct their predecessors’ mistakes. That said, Sakura not having much in the way of familial angst was a weird anomaly. This changed the Shippuden movie Road to Ninja, where Kizashi and Mebuki Haruno were introduced.
