I’ve seen some slander on blue period’s animation and honestly I don’t agree at all. 95% of it is animating panel by panel and even if the animation isn’t crazy fluid, when it decides to go crazy it’s pure sakuga. great adaptation so far imo.
Blue Period is filled end to end with complex and relatable characters. The protagonist Yaguchi Yatora suffers from Imposter Syndrome, and yet is a hard worker. Yatora’s lack of confidence and arrogance are contrasted with Yotasuke’s natural faith in his skills and his insecurity regarding his own value.
I love Yuka. I love Yatora. I love Blue Period. I'm glad to see those chapters animated.
Blue Period was really nice. One of the best new anime I've watched. I really loved Yatora's character and how I related to him a lot, and I loved how this anime tackled more themes than just art. I wish it was longer tho, but still it was a great experience 💯
