Who are we at De Anza College?

We are a group of Chinese Christians at De Anza College seeking to be Jesus’ witness by caring international students, emphasizing virtuous characters found in the Bible, and supporting one another academically. We welcome you to join us at our weekly meeting at the campus.

What is the De Anza Bible Club?

The purpose of the club is to gather everyone in De Anza who wants to study the Bible in depths to progress in their Christian life, and open the way for students in De Anza to have fellowship with other Christians outside of campus.

What is the De Anza Chess Club?

The purpose of the club is to foster chess talents in a safe and encouraging environment. We shall also host tournaments that allow De Anza students to come together as one, through their interest in chess.

Why badminton at De Anza?

The badminton club welcomes players of all levels, ranging from beginners to advanced players. We hope to provide a place where students can meet others of similar interest, build relationships, and most of all, have fun and enjoy this sport. At De Anza’s Black Student Union, we want a club that celebrates and connects black culture and history.

What is the De Anza model UN club?

De Anza Model UN Club is a place to learn about global issues, experience the motions and procedure of the United Nations, become a global citizen, and search for solutions to problems experienced world wide. Great for developing public speaking, research, and leadership skills.

What is the purpose of the De Anza Triathlon Club?

The purpose of the club is to develop a community of multi-sport athletes from recreational to the elite who share a common purpose . The triathlon, which originated in California and is still a minor sport. We can tell people about how a Triathlon is exciting and can improve cardiovascular health and increase interest in the sport. And we will meet a lot of people who are participating in other sports such as swimming or cycling or running, hence the name Triathlon. We can always learn and support each other. The De Anza Triathlon Club is a sport-related organization dedicated to the athlete for the promotion and participation in multi-sport competition. De Anza Triathlon Club believes in directing each athlete to achieve their personal athletic goals, encouraging individual growth and performance in the sport through mentoring and learning, participating in organized group training sessions consisting of professionally designed workouts, and socialization in a fun and welcome environment, all while maintaining the unique competitiveness and spirit of endurance sports.

What is de anza 3D printing?

De Anza 3D Printing Club is to provide hobbyists with an overview of 3D printing, beginner engineers with a place to learn 3D printing process and fundamental knowledge of Computer-Aided Design (CAD), and all who are interested with the opportunity of acquiring skills for future hobby and job applications.

What is the purpose of artificial intelligence club?

The purpose of the club is to educate students on the field of artificial intelligence through discussion, research, and experimentation. We aim to create a community in which each member can pursue their artificial intelligence related interests.

What is accounting club?

The accounting club is open to all students who are interested in accounting. It provides students opportunities to build strong networks, participate in various events, discuss accounting related topics, discover potential career paths, and meet other students with similar career objectives.

What is history club?

The history club is about understanding the past events that have occurred. The purpose is to learn what happened, why it happened, and how does it affect our lives. Also, we visit museums.

Welcome new and returning students to De Anza for Winter 2022! Happy New Year and warm greetings from the Inter-Club Council (ICC). For those who don’t know, the Inter-Club Council is an umbrella organization representing cultural, educational, honorary, philanthropic, religious, and social interests here at De Anza.

Why I joined the ICC: I joined the ICC because I wish to make students at De Anza more involved in school related activities and experience what De Anza really has to offer. I want to show students that even though De Anza is a community college, being involved in school activities is still beneficial.

Why I joined the ICC: I want to ensure we foster a culture of inclusivity. It is the utmost important thing for a school like De Anza because we have a student body that is very diverse. We want people to feel welcomed and be involved with school activities as much as possible.
