Why are there so many anime songs on osu? It's something I noticed for a while. Of all the ranked beatmaps in Osu, anime theme songs are the most common, popular, competitive, and highest quality beatmaps. Almost every anime's theme songs will have at least 1 (and usually more) version of a beatmap that's ranked.
You can only play maps and music from featured artist on stream. Since those artists agreed that osu can use that music iirc. Other than that. No not really, osu has always been in a tough spot regarding content creation and copyright laws.
