Bring sunscreen (and maybe a hat, too). Most lines are located outside of the building, and while they are tented, it's possible you may spend some time in the sun while walking around. Set aside money for food and bring a refillable water bottle.
If visiting pavilions all day has made you thirsty, you can refill your water bottle with ice cold water at multiple stations at the Expo 2020 Dubai. PepsiCo and Aquafina have set up seven water stations across the event site to not only help with sustainable water consumption but also promote hydration habits.
Re: Water Bottles Allowed at Universal Yes we prefer to bring our own bottles and refill to reduce the use of the little plastic cups. I think the water cups are only 8 oz. We know where the water fountains are- by most bathrooms.
Any bottles, reusable or not, will need to be empty to be allowed past the checkpoint. Moreover, unlike the items included in the liquid 3-1-1 rule, you can store your empty reusable water bottle with the rest of your luggage in your checked bag or in your carry-on. Does airport security care what material my water bottle is made of?
We work very hard to bring a wide variety of events, panels, and activities to Anime Expo. As much as we’d love to share them all with all of our attendees, it’s likely that you won’t be able to do or see everything. With multiple events and panels running at the same time, you may have to make some hard choices.
Valid, government-issued photo ID (i.e. Drivers License, Passport, Military ID, etc.) If you are under 18, please bring your parent or legal guardian with you to pick up your badge.
At Anime Expo (“AX”), we celebrate the creativity of cosplayers and encourage everyone to cosplay whomever they wish–regardless of size, gender, age, religion, shape, color, or even species.
Ticketed Events Some events during Anime Expo may also require a ticket, in addition to a badge. You can buy your tickets online ahead of time or you can purchase them onsite at the Ticketing Booth, based on availability.
Toy or fantasy guns that are "obviously fake" are allowed. Swords are allowed if they can be tied shut in their sheath, or if they are made of wood or plastic. Swords must never be waved around or wielded, but they can be used for still posing for photographs.
Absolutely, in fact the majority of attendees don't do cosplay for the event. And if this is your first time, it may be for the best if you opt for comfort over creativity. If you have a relevant t-shirt, Comic-Con is a great place to wear it.
As cosplay has become more mainstream and accessible, people have been able to enter the world of costume creation at younger ages. On average, cosplayers wear their first costume to a convention at age 21. However, there is no age limit for cosplay.
Attendees age 13 years old and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian over the age of 18 for the duration of their time at the event. Child badges can be purchased with a 4-day or 1-day general attendee badge.
If you are not cosplaying, you should make sure you are wearing comfortable clothes and walking shoes, as you will likely be on your feet most of the day. The convention may be hot once you are inside the venue, so you may want to dress in layers to stay comfortable.

But unlike most of those, at the annual pop-culture convention Dragon Con, you're allowed to bring in guns — fake ones, that is. If your costume for Dragon Con includes a prop weapon, you might get a tap on the shoulder from someone like Amanda Tucker.
No functional props or weapons are allowed at Comic-Con. All costume props and weapons must conform to state and federal law. Projectile costume props and weapons must be rendered inoperable. Functional (real) arrows must have their tips removed and be bundled and zip-tied to a quiver.
Replicas of firearms provided the prop is easily identifiable as a prop weapon. Prop firearms such as Nerf guns and water guns are permitted, however they must be inoperable and unable to fire any projectile. All fake, prop, or homemade weapons are permitted if they are in no way dangerous to fellow attendees.

Inside the building, which is hard to miss because it is made using 41,000 recyclable aluminium cans, there is an automated water dispenser machine that gives people unlimited refills of water when they step inside with their own water bottles.
Speaking about how the process helps environmental goals and ties with Expo’s theme of sustainability, Cetinturk said: “You are eliminating the usage of plastic bottles, you are encouraging people to reuse more and more.”
The only liquids that are within the rules to bring on-board are 2 bottles of wine. All other liquids (beer, water, soda, whisky, you name it) are not officially allowed. This prohibition is rarely enforced against non-alcoholic liquids, but is enforced against alcoholic liquids that come to their attention.
He gives the room steward an extra tip the first day and asks for ice. This tends to have ice waiting for us at least once if not twice a day. He fills it up with ice and sometimes tap water, other times he lets the ice melt for cold water. I also have some thrity-one bottle thermals to help keep his water cold.
The flavored water/lemonade is in the Windjammer buffet (and some cafes on some ships) and you can pretty much get any time . Any food or bar will give you a glass of iced water to fill bottle.
Yes, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and other airport security authorities across the world allow you to bring an empty bottle on board a plane.
No, airport security does not care whether your reusable water bottle is made of. Whether that is stainless steel, plastic, or glass, they couldn’t care less.
Although reusable water bottles can be made from a variety of materials, some are safer and better than others. For instance, glass has long been considered to be the safest material for reusable water bottles. Not only is it chemical-free, but it’s also made from natural materials.
At the end of the day, the fact that you are choosing to reuse a bottle is far more important than its material of construction. As such, you should always pick a bottle that perfectly suits your needs so that you can use it for the longest time possible.
