In DC Comics, Green Lanterns are famous for their ability to create weapons or anything else they can imagine out of green energy. Here, Gas uses that ability to devastating effect, effectively neutralizing Goku and Granolah before either can respond.

The Green Lantern rings are often described as “The Most Powerful Weapon in the Universe”, yet they often fail to stop the villain.
In the days before Hal Jordan was created, Alan Scott's Green Lantern had one weakness: Wood. Bizarrely, despite wielding one of the most powerful weapons in the universe and founding the Justice Society of America, he could theoretically be defeated by anyone wielding a baseball bat -- and in some cases, he was.
Green Lanterns have also shown the ability to use their Power Ring to create synthetic Kryptonite which, while not quite as effective as the real deal substance, has still shown the ability to drain and eventually kill any Kryptonians in the immediate vicinity.

1 Green Lantern Ring The most powerful power ring in the DC Universe is unsurprisingly the Green Lantern Corps Rings. The first ever Green Lantern Ring was a magically created ring given to Alan Scott and fueled by the Green Flame.
1440 mphIn atmosphere, a Green Lantern has been known to fly as fast as Mach 10 in atmosphere by creating an aerodynamic envelope around his body. Towing others, usually within a bubble, his speed is limited to the twice the speed of sound or 1440 mph.
Rings don't explode or otherwise react violently to their own destruction. Most likely, the stored emotional energy simply dissipates back into the background emotional energy field of the universe.
All of this, emotional understanding of both the user and the people they protect, coupled with its uses in the field have make the Yellow Lantern ring much more effective than a green one.
However, one of their original weaknesses was their rings' inability to affect anything that was the color yellow, the color of fear.
The Flash is one of DC's most formidable heroes, but it turns out his biggest fear is slipping on a banana peel and rocketing himself into space.
To be honest, there’s no way Hal can win this battle without “cheating”. If this is a “brawl,” he’s probably going to easily lose because there doesn’t seem to be a limit to Saitama’s strength and speed.
Upon seeing the almost terrified reaction Beerus had to Zen-O, Goku’s response was basically, “Can he fight?” And to be honest, no Zen-O can’t fight. But he doesn’t need to. In his own multiverse he’s essentially the King of Everything, and we’ve seen him display amounts of power that are utterly impossible for other characters. We’ve seen him wipe out entire universes before, and though he brought back the ones which were lost during the Tournament of Power, he had no problem wiping out six universes before that.
Referred to occasionally as the Mage of the Beginning, the Lifebringer is unlike many of the foes on this list. It isn’t that the Lifemaker CAN’T be killed, though they do possess incredible powers that could alter reality itself.
Naruto’s someone who could actually go energy for energy with Green Lantern. At least, he could for people that aren’t familiar with a GL’s abilities. His ability to access a Jinchuuriki with incredible chakra means Hal is much more likely to run out of energy before Naruto does, as Naruto has seemingly limitless energy. But none of that matters when Hal’s dealt with threats far more powerful than Naruto and come out just fine—he edges Naruto out in experience and can always drop a literal mountain on him if he had to.
Goku’s got a lot of special abilities—he’s certainly stronger than Hal Jordan by far. If Hal stays in a mode where he tries to subdue Goku, he’s going to go down fast. But Goku’s got a terrible habit of not taking his opponent’s seriously until it’s too late, where Hal is trained to assess a threat and immediately neutralize it. He’ll attempt to hold Goku in a cell or something, but once that fails he’ll teleport him out into space, leaving Goku with no option but to either calm down and surrender or risk dying.
7 Couldn't Defeat: Doctor Doom. Doctor Doom is arguably the most iconic supervillain of all time. The former classmate of Reed Richards, Doom has mastered the arts of magic and technology to become the most powerful foe of the Fantastic Four, and one of the top masterminds in the Marvel Universe. He even eventually managed to reach godhood ...
Whether it's a small issue in Coast City or a galactic invasion, there are not many villains who can stand up to Green Lantern's light throughout the universe.
Since Green Lantern is much more powerful than Spider-Man, it's safe to assume he would be able to defeat them as well.
Green Lantern would probably need the entire Corps watching his back if he wanted to take on the colossal titan, considering Galactus has often had to fight against the combined efforts of the Marvel heroes, and it still often isn't a fair fight.
Comment. Green Lantern is commonly seen as one of the most powerful members of the Justice League, and for very good reason. No matter who is wearing the ring, they are consistently a powerhouse of willpower, providing insane lantern constructs and a large helping hand with the team. Whether it's a small issue in Coast City or a galactic invasion, ...
Galactus is typically seen as the end all, be all to Marvel's cos mic villains , and for good reason. He is powered by feeding off of entire worlds of civilization, and it's no doubt he would eventually find his way to Sector 2814 to polish off his appetite.
While he is a worthy foe of one green hero, Green Lantern has taken on villains far more powerful, including Arkillo, who is similar to Abomination in size and strength , with a Sinestro Corps ring for good measure.
