They are efficient, but the affection never comes organically. The monster in Shortcut is the real star. The creature design is incredible, but perhaps even more impressive is the thing's slow reveal.

The Bunny Beasts are the Elder Bairn at their most vicious, but their appearance as deformed and abnormal rabbits makes them even harder to stomach.
The Nurarihyon Alien Boss takes on a very Satan-like appearance as it asserts its dominance on the world. The monster looks and feels like a deity of pure destruction and there's a lot more that could be done with such a deep enemy.

Spirited Away features all sorts of creative demons, but that film is already very much a celebration of them. However, one of the most striking visuals in the environmentally conscious Princess Mononoke is the infected Boar Demon. The creature wreaks havoc on the land in a way that’s actually disturbing and it’s so vicious it makes Venom’s symbiote look playful. More depth on this virus would be incredible.

The demon fox taking less of an antagonistic role in the second half than the first, Naruto eventually has to decide between a new power inherited from his former master or to trust the power of the demon within him. Which road does he take? You’ll have to suffer through the 4 th Great Ninja War to find out ;). But seriously, Naruto isn’t as bad as your friend who binge watches Serial Experiments Lain and wrote that dissertation on a psychoanalytic analysis of Angel’s Egg thinks it is. Go watch an episode or ten and decide for yourself… Or a possessed 4-tailed Naruto will wreck your house.
