In the oversaturated isekai genre, ‘ Konosuba ’ (short for ‘KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on this Wonderful World!’) is a rare gem that explores its fantastical setting with considerable helpings of satire, absurdity, and self-awareness. The story revolves around a group of misfits who form an adventuring party together as no other group will accept any of them. Kazuma Satou is a teenage hikikomori who meets Goddess Aqua after his death and picks her to be the one thing that he can take with him to the alternate world where he is about to be reincarnated.
In the ‘Konosuba’ film, the adventuring party goes to Megumin’s home village, where they encounter Sylvia, also a Demon King’s general. After the heroes manage to kill her, she merges with two other generals and returns as one entity. It takes the combined magical abilities of Megumin and Yunyun to destroy the demon.
For all intent and purpose, the film serves as a sequel to the anime show. It is unclear whether J.C.Staff will make more ‘Konosuba’ films or create their own anime series. The latter might serve as the third season of the show.
The first season covers the first two volumes of light novels, while the second season is based on the 3rd and 4th volumes. On August 30, 2019, J.C.Staff Studio released the animated feature film ‘KonoSuba: God ’s Blessing on this Wonderful World! Legend of Crimson,’ which adapted the 5th volume of the light novels.
Based on a light novel series written by Natsume Akatsuki and illustrated by Kurone Mishima, ‘Konosuba’ is inarguably one of the best isekai anime shows of all time .

The power of anime often lies in its ability to transport viewers to other worlds. There's even an entire subgenre that's focused on this idea. Legend of Crimson," premiered in 2019. Some of the characters have also appeared in the crossover saga "Isekai Quarter" since the show entered hiatus. However, fans haven't given up hope of seeing another "KonoSuba" series. But will it ever happen?
Crunchyroll. "KonoSuba" was a massive hit among anime fans when it first hit the screen, and the series is still extremely popular. While that type of success usually leads to more installments at some point, the future of "KonoSuba" is currently up in the air.
Following his demise, Kazuma meets a self-proclaimed goddess called Aqua, who, after mocking him for dying in such a silly way, takes him to the new realm to battle the Devil King. Upon arrival, they are joined by a spellcaster named Megumin and Darkness, a knight with some serious issues.
According to Monsters and Critics, Junichiro Tamura, a "KonoSuba" producer, previously stated that a third season still has a "good chance" of happening. At the same time, more "KonoSuba" isn't a priority for original director Takaomi Kanasaki at the moment.
As for why the Konosuba novel ended in such a manner is because the author was probably trying to save the romance aspect for that short story so that Kazuma could have some time to learn the meaning behind love and become a strong-willed and dedicated person , after all, Megumin deserves the very best.
Volume 16 of Konosuba was hilarious and exciting in all ways. However, just like all good things come to an end one day, KonoSuba did too. Popular isekai light novel, KonoSuba – God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World!, concluded with its 17th and final volume.
Choosing to start a new life, Kazuma is quickly tasked with defeating a Demon King who is terrorizing villages. But before he goes, he can choose one item of any kind to aid him in his quest, and the future hero selects Aqua. But Kazuma has made a grave mistake—Aqua is completely useless!
1) He can go to Japan with a lot of money and “his ideal partner”. 2) He can go back to the current world as he is. Kazuma then asks for the cheat he was always supposed to have and questions whether a goddess counts as a cheat. However, later he and Eris go to the world, leaving Aqua alone.
So yes, despite the loose ends, the story is satisfactory and ends in true Konosuba fashion, with plenty of emotions, pranks, and laughter.
But Kazuma has made a grave mistake—Aqua is completely useless! Unfortunately, their troubles don’t end here; it turns out that living in such a world is far different from how it plays out in a game. Instead of going on a thrilling adventure, the duo must first work to pay for their living expenses.
A sequel series called “Counter-Attack of Satou Kazuma” is being made.
Konosuba is an unpublished light novel created by Natsume Akatsuki and drawn by Kurone Mishima. There are currently 16 volumes in the light novel collection, and the 17th volume is considered to be the last one. Five of them have been made into an anime format.
Volume 16 from Konosuba was entertaining in every way. But, as every good thing comes to an end at some point, KonoSuba did too.
After the fight against the Demon King as a reward, the man offers his name as Kouichi Sakaguchi. He promises to reveal to Kazuma the truth behind his name if Kazuma is able to beat the Demon King.
The light novel opens by introducing Kazuma and Aqua which is why it’s only right to close the book with Kazuma and Aqua. Because of this, the story is elaborated and ends on the right note.
As promised, the author released an e-book concerning Kazuma and Megumin at the close of volume 17, in which they began a relationship.
In addition to the end of the story and the final chapter of Konosuba There was also an after story that was sweet. Additionally, the creator of the manga has suggested that there would be other stories that follow about Kazuma and his adventures and love.
