In my opinion, they get the fear and the shrieks the best when working on their anime. The distinct modifications in the characters faces when in grief or terror are amazing works of art and generally translate well onto viewers, letting us feel what they feel and making us want not to be able to.
When They Cry: Telling short stories with the same characters is the biggest trait for this show and they do an amazing job with it. Following different arcs that have definite resolutions, this one is also not for the faint of heart. Bashing hatred and pure contempt between characters resolved in one glorious final episode. The viewer sometimes forgets there is comedy and laughter in this show.
