Hex and Bajo said it was the last in the series which probably finishes where the manga finishes. I have been wondering if the Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm series contains all the manga plot and also if they include any of the fillers from the anime series (considering the anime hasn't caught up to the end of the Manga)
I picked the first option because the fights buuuut the Anime does cover more than the storm games (it's only positive) Storm games skip some big stuff at times like sound 4, Storm 3 ending, certain events etc. Though Storm's presentation is outstanding soooo Storm all the way.
The game franchise did cover the whole story, but not in detail. What I'm trying to say is, they basically give a small flashback for each story that led to each problem that needs to be solved by Naruto and his friends. That's how the storytelling works in the game.
Though Storm's presentation is outstanding soooo Storm all the way. Edit: Forgot about the anime's music and intros those are cool and stuff but Storm 4 has an offical intro this time so still Storm wins. Why can't we all just charge in with fully upgraded Laser swords and lvl 100 skimpy armor?
For the most part yes, but you're better off watching the original series as Storm 1 does a poor job going through the story. The other 3 games do shorten some things here and there but will deliver the core story just fine. Kishimoto is hilarious.
It is in fact the definitive way to experience the story imo, at least sheppuden part, its so great at telling the story its unbelievable , the fights are amazing and its use for QTE are immersive and enhance the battles.
When all is said and done, if you're a Naruto fan, or are somewhat interested in the series, then the Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy is well worth picking up. The amount of content story-wise is pretty staggering, and being able to go back and relive some great moments is worth the trip for anyone interested in Naruto.
In general, the games cover all the major plot points, though they add extra fights and misc scenes, and noticeably alter the dialog, but all the main points/highlights of the manga are usually there.
Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 is the pinnacle of the Storm series, featuring refined combat, graphics, and over 100 characters on offer. While the reception for this game was rocky at release, Storm 4 has improved through patches and its expansion. Following the story of the Fourth Shinobi World War up to the anime's end.

Released on the Nintendo Wii, Naruto Shippuden: Clash Of Ninja Revolution 3 had a story mode that was seen as a strong improvement when compared to previous Naruto titles. Even so many fans remember the game fondly not for its singleplayer, but for it's fun multiplayer.
Great game with massive potential, definitely holds up to today's standards, if anything, the battle mode is a true time sinker.
NARUTO SHIPPUDEN: ULTIMATE NINJA STORM LEGACY collects all 4 games in one collection. This collection includes: ULTIMATE NINJA STORM, ULTIMATE NINJA STORM 2, ULTIMATE NINJA STORM 3 FULL BURST, and ULTIMATE NINJA STORM 4 ROAD TO BORUTO. Online multiplayer on Xbox requires Xbox Live Gold (subscription sold separately).
It's not worth buying the entire collection for; in fact, you could go without playing this entry in its entirety, but it adds even more value to an already substantial package. I may be a bit biased towards Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 as it was the first Ultimate Ninja Storm game I ever played.
The story mode of Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 follows the conclusion of the Naruto Shippuden series. Here you play through chapters of the story from the anime series. There are cutscenes in-between battles with interactive cutscenes and quicktime at certain points.
The story mode loosely covers the events of the anime up to episode 135. Players are able to explore the Hidden Leaf Village between missions, which acts as a central hub for the story mode, and access more missions.

It does have cutscenes at the end of each arc actually. And the 25 combo missions are really easy.
Bro just watch the anime and skip the fillers. Yes the war arc is hated on but you would be missing a lot of great things done in the anime.
If you're playing them solely on Xbox One/PS4, just know that it's missing the Killer Bee vs. Sasuke fight that was in Generations, which was only released on last gen consoles.
I'm pretty sure I just ran into modded characters in an online match on ps? I've never seen a Sage Madara before and during his ult his mouth wasn't moving either. If I'm wrong or anything please let me know.
They were all 3 fun to play in the Ultimate Ninja series on PS2, so I wonder why they weren’t included in the storm games? There are far less relevant characters that ARE playable.
