If anyone says your a loser or weeb for liking anime then their just assholes with nothing better to do with their lives. People who are turned off by your likes and interests are probably not the one for you anyways, since they aren’t really accepting of everything about you and all.
No, liking anime isn’t really bad. It’s just like any other hobby, or interest. If anyone says your a loser or weeb for liking anime then their just assholes with nothing better to do with their lives.
If you’ve ever felt like a bit of a loser, firstly, I think that a lot of us have likely felt that way at some point or another. Secondly, the simple fact that you’ve even pondered it, highlights one of the reasons you are probably not a loser.
A loser is a person who is ultimately a bit worthless. But what defines someone’s worth? I think you can have millions in the bank, be at the top of your field and still be a bit of a loser.
No there is absolutely nothing wrong with liking anime. People like what they like. We all have different preferences when it comes to what we do in our spare time. There are some of my friends know that I like anime and think its kinda weird, but they still accept me for who I am.
Otaku (Japanese: おたく, オタク, or ヲタク) is a Japanese word that describes people with consuming interests, particularly in anime, manga, video games, or computers. Its contemporary use originated with a 1983 essay by Akio Nakamori in Manga Burikko.
“Anime at its best is a genuine, richly fascinating contemporary Japanese art form with an exceptionally appealing visual style… young people brought up in a world of computers and video games are particularly open to its distinctive aesthetic.”
The characters are unique and interesting Anime boasts such vibrancy and diversity in its characters. People in anime have dynamic personalities, they're whole people (even when they aren't human); they have dreams and goals, and beyond that, there's just so much variance in what they are.
Weebs or Weeaboo are defined by a lack of social boundaries, social skills, and an unhealthy obsession with Japanese media culture. The label is meant to be derogatory, but over time people have embraced it as an identity label. Weebs, however, lack a healthy outlook on life.
In nerd and fandom communities, "weeaboo" is synonymous with "wapanese." Both terms can be used for males or females and are negative descriptors for non-Japanese people (usually, but not exclusively, Caucasians) obsessed with Japanese culture.
To get over an anime addiction, start by reducing the amount of time you spend watching it every day. Limit yourself to watching only 2 or 3 of your favorite shows, and avoid or delete anime fan sites from your browser favorites to prevent temptation.
In fact, since anime relies on animation, it is one of the most aesthetic mediums of entertainment. However, there are a lot of shows within this medium that stand out to be much more beautiful than others.
The amines these days use very special softwares for making each episode of the anime. Moreover, the demand of better quality of animes(visually) has led to the making of more aesthetically appealing animes. This is why animes are more aesthetically appealing than other art styles!
like myself, some people are addicted to anime because it's fun, action-packed, comedic, and entertaining, it's like a show that's so good you can't help but watch another episode, and the characters are cute and different.
Unlike American cartoons, however, anime has a wide following, with series and films made for audiences of all ages, including some marked "mature audiences only."
For many adults, anime is simply something that they grew up with, much like people who grew up reading comics or watching Star Wars. The love never goes away; fans just simply evolve as they get older. Some adults do take the path to marriage, kids, and a career and give up their old interests, but some don't.
Growing up I was always told to go to take a bath before going to bed, so when I found out most people usually bathe in the morning I was always puzzled by this. Never heard of someone bathing at night and in the morning, but since it isn't agsint the law, I really wanna know what's up with that.
I just saw a post with “Biblically accurate angels” and they were weird creatures with tons of eyes… I know a lot of mental illnesses were not diagnosed back then and from these descriptions it seems a lot like delusions/hallucinations.
I work for a tech company--one of the very biggest ones. In my writing, I'm not allowed to say things like "let's take a closer look," because this is somehow "offensive to people with visual impairments." I can't say "don't jump to conclusions," because this... I guess is offensive to those can't jump (??)
Seen lots of articles lately talking about how millenials and gen z aren't having lots of kids and all the articles are talking about how bad it is. I was taught in school that the earth is massively over populated and the population is completely unmanageable.

I just don't get it. I know that it's often well deserved, but if you are going to deprive someone of their life, it's not so far from killing them. An argument could be made that one can live up to it, but after 40 years of prison you're basically just the shell of a man.
You know that feeling when your sweater just didn’t get dried enough, and so it’s still kinda damp. Best time to put it on. Plus, you get to feel it slowly dry while you’re wearing it, which is kind of a nice feeling.
I had to watch some cartoons when I visited my younger cousin. Both the animation quality and the subjects presented have taken a nose dive as if the Bogdanof twins told the production teams to "dropeet".
If you're good parents you teach your kids how to help around the house, teach them basic respect and not to talk back at critical times, and not be a fucking brat. You teach them how to live, how to do basic laundry, dishes, clean the table, take the groceries out of the bag and put it in the fridge, and how to talk with other people.
A loser is a person who is ultimately a bit worthless. But what defines someone’s worth? I think you can have millions in the bank, be at the top of your field and still be a bit of a loser. Ultimately in life, it’s not our ever changing external life circumstances that really define us, surely it’s our character.
1) Playing the victim. A loser may feel like life is against them. They can’t seem to catch a break. Bad things happen to them and they are always at the mercy of life. Of course, some people really have been dealt a far worse hand than others.
Yet, there are plenty of people who still manage to create success and happiness out of the worst conditions. Winners take full responsibility for themselves, rather than always seeing everything as somebody else’s fault. Losers are unable to see that a victim mentality is the very attitude that keeps them stuck.
If you are able to contemplate yourself and how your actions, thoughts, or emotions do or don’t align with your internal standards — this really is 90% of the battle when it comes to change. We can’t ever make positive changes until we can see a problem.
It’s only not ok to be a loser if you know that you are guilty of some pretty shitty behaviour but make no attempts to do anything about it. None of us are born winners or losers. It’s how we choose to respond to what happens in life and make the decision to change.
