Well because Irozuku seems to be in conflict with two different elements, with one being the tale of self growth as a character and the other being a magical time travel romantic melodrama. From the start off it's easy to see that there was a good amount of effort put into the visuals of the show.

At first, I was taken aback by the quality of the animation, the contrast and the plot. Time travel! Drama! Magic! Meh, it was really a letdown. The animation was actually poor in many scenes, the story was poorly executed, and mainly, Hitomi and Aoi are autistic. "grew up lacking emoction", but she grieves for her dead mother....

I guess I'm a little late to the party here, but I just finished watching this show today after starting it earlier this week. I really, really, liked it, and I'm glad that I finally got around to watching it after so long. It was exactly the kind of show I adore.

Final Thoughts

While the anime is streaming on Amazon and can be found in subbed versions only, there has yet to be a dubbed version of Iroduku. However, the voice actors do a beautiful job in the characters they had been cast in. We show the light of what those that close that closes themselves off for hatred of magic can do to a person.
