This year's eighth issue of Kodansha 's Weekly Shōnen Magazine is announcing on Wednesday that Kouji Seo will end his Kimi no Iru Machi ( A Town Where You Live ) manga in the 11th issue on February 12.
The plot is pretty nice and gets really emotional at the end. I would say to just bear through the slow flashback episodes at the start cuz it's worth it towards the latter half of the anime. For those of you that had read the Manga you will like the show. Its tugs on the heart strings but its worth it.
1 Answer. Show activity on this post. The anime series skipped the Hiroshima part and goes straight to the Tokyo part where Haruto was chasing after the disappearing Eba. It ended with Haruto breaking up with Asuka and going back with Yuzuki.

HarutoFollowing Kyousuke's death, Yuzuki decides to stop seeing Haruto out of guilt. Reunited two years later, the two reaffirm their love, and begin dating. At the end of the series, she married Haruto and they have a son named Daiki. In both Tatsunoko Production's and Gonzo's anime, she is voiced by Megumi Nakajima.
Recommended Audience: There's nudity (Haruto's sis in shower), and attempted foreplay. There are ways to be morally offensive besides sex and violence, though, y'know; this show's Exhibit A.

A Town Where You Live Drama CD: Pre-Season Story ~Decision~ (君のいる町 ドラマCD プレ・シーズン・ストーリー~決意~ , ) is an audio drama CD released by UNIVERSAL MUSIC on June 26, 2013. The contents serves as a prologue episode before the events of the anime series.
Like the manga, the epilogue according to the anime chronology follows a "hands down" scene where it brings continuity to the author's next series.
The main reason for this is because he is constantly reminded of his time dating Asuka, which is painful and awkward for them both. After he moves in, Yuzuki's father finds out that they are dating, and because Yuzuki lied to him about it (and because he is jealous of Haruto making her happy, while he couldn't), her father decides that Yuzuki will stop seeing Haruto altogether. Because of this, Yuzuki runs away from home to live with Haruto, again. She and her father eventually reconcile, with him giving his blessing to the couple. The two become good friends with their neighbor, Miyu Hoshina, a timid and insecure girl, who goes to the same college as Haruto. Though she is afraid of men, she warms to Haruto after he helps her a few times, for no apparent reason. She causes many humorous misunderstandings between the three of them. Together with Haruto and Yuzuki, she plans a trip to Okinawa, in order to cement their friendship. When they return, Haruto ponders what it means to fall even more in love with someone, and how he can express it to Yuzuki. He eventually realizes how, and on their one year anniversary of being together in Tokyo (as well as the 200th chapter of the series), they finally make love for the first time.
The plot follows the two characters Haruto Kirishima and Yuzuki Eba. Yuzuki moved from Tokyo to her father's rural hometown in Hiroshima Prefecture to attend high school. Given that Haruto's father is an acquaintance of Yuzuki's father, the Kirishimas take her into their home. Haruto is not keen of the situation because he believes that Yuzuki is a complete stranger and that a girl his same age, who is not a relative, living in the same home will cause complications for him. The misunderstanding he wants to avoid the most is that they are a couple because he already likes his classmate, Nanami Kanzaki. The problem is that Yuzuki has romantic feelings for Haruto and is not timid in pursuing a relationship. It turns out Yuzuki is no stranger: She visited Haruto's city in her childhood. During the summer festival, Yuzuki was on her own and crying. Haruto approached her and made her happy. Also Yuzuki never got along with her family since she was treated like the fifth wheel by her step-family.
When Haruto finally confesses to Nanami, he is rejected. He does not understand for a long time, until Nanami opens his eyes: Even though Haruto pretends to love Nanami (even to himself), his actions said otherwise. Whenever he had to decide between spending time with Nanami or saving Yuzuki from one of the situations she would keep getting herself into, he would choose Yuzuki. After finally admitting to himself that he has fallen for Yuzuki, he tries to pursue a relationship with her - only to find out that she has somewhat given up and decided to go back to Tokyo, to patch things up with her family. After many complications Haruto confesses his love at a festival before Yuzuki is to return to Tokyo and they both start a long distance relationship.
A Town Where You Live (君のいる町 Kimi no Iru Machi?) is an ongoing Japanese manga written and illustrated by Kouji Seo . The series is a character-driven romance story set in the same universe and during the events of the manga and anime series Suzuka, it follows Haruto Kirishima, a self-conscious teenager, and Yuzuki Eba, a boisterous teenage girl that moved from Tokyo into the Kirishima family's country home.

In the past, the two did not get along because Rin misunderstood Yuzuki in that she thought that Yuzuki purposely seduced men, but it appears that they have since worked out their problems. She seems to have a kind personality, but actually she is devious and likes to cause trouble for others for her own amusement.
Yuzuki is surprised when Haruto visits her during his school trip to Tokyo. However she misunderstands the situation when seeing Haruto and Nanami holding hands. Yuzuki refuses to speak with Haruto, but his persistence appears to pay off as she forgives him. However, this forgiveness may have not been sincere as a short time later, Yuzuki cuts off all contact with Haruto and avoids Haruto's request to meet up and apparently has dumped him for a new boyfriend. Yuzuki apparently "explains" this to Haruto in a letter that came with the shirt she bought for him (that Haruto was ignorant of for around a month before it accidentally fell out of the bag). She explains how she must date a boy who dumped her in middle school and therefore must break up with Haruto. However, after reading the letter Haruto decides that the content was not something Yuzuki would write, and that something has happened to her once again.
At the beginning of the series when Yuzuki comes to his house, he's a little irritated with her and doesn't remember meeting her before. But he becomes protective of her and they become good friends. Thanks to Yuzuki he gets closer to Nanami and finally confesses to her, but she replies that she wants them to stay friends and tells him that she wants more time to think about answering his confession. Yuzuki also confesses her love to him, saying that he'll fall for her eventually, but she believes that first he'll end up with Nanami.
Kotone develops a crush on Haruto. During a class outing to gather apples for the festival, Kotone arrived with her hair unbraided (because of a comment made by Haruto)and Haruto thought it looked nice on her. She replied that if he likes it, she'll leave her hair unbraided from now on.
He met a lost Yuzuki during the festival while they were kids, he took care of her and told her that if she ever had problems she could come see him again. Entering in middle school he secretly had a crush on Nanami.
