Ao Oni (青鬼, lit. 'Blue Demon') is a freeware role-playing horror video game. The game features puzzle and RPG elements, and revolves around a teenager named Hiroshi, who is trapped with his friends in a haunted mansion, and is stalked by a blue demon.

The Ao Oni (lit. "Blue Demon") is the titular demon from the video game of the same name. It is a lavender-skinned humanoid creature with a large distorted head, large, glassy eyes, black hair, a bent nose, and a tiny, featureless body. It almost constantly has a bemused expression on its face.
History. The Oni is an enigmatic, mysterious creature that lives in the abandoned mansion on the outskirts of a town in Japan. Not much is known about the Oni, but it lives with many creatures that resemble it, and may have once been a human resident of the mansion.
In Version 6.23, it has been shown that after the Oni kills, the victim becomes an Oni themselves. It seems to act like a virus, when the "virus" interacts with a sentient creature, within moments it can turn them into a horrific monstrosity, as exampled with a pregnant cat in the original game.
Kuro Oni is a Korean fan game that takes place in a gothic-style mansion. The game is made in RPG XP and requires a Korean locale setting . The player controls Lee Sung-Hoon, a young man who stumbles across a mansion with two friends and uncovers an ancient myth.

In comedy anime, good animation is important to make your scenes funnier, and if there is slapstick, you gotta work out talent to make the animation look neat. With what I can remember of this anime, the characters move like what would be similar to moving cardboard puppets with the leftovers of a popsicle stick.
And, if your animation is shitty, and your characters are also one-dimensional, then your jokes will end up falling flatter than a plane in a plane crash if that makes sense.
The animation isn't smooth, and while sometimes it does work effectively, other times it isn't anything special. The animation isn't anything eye bleeding, unlike something similar to Avenger, one of the ugliest anime I have seen so far, but only charm can save the category of animation.
Ao-Oni is one of the most well-known of RPG Maker games, as if you were to go and talk to someone about the best and the worst, you'll hear mixed reactions about Ao-Oni somewhere in that conversation, or maybe not.
