There's some gun violence and a frightening climactic battle between a meanie with a loaded gun and the "monster" and his friends. Kids who pay attention will get glimpses of Parisian landmarks and will value the movie's messages of tolerance and friendship.
Description. Lucille is a Parisian girl and singer with red hair and green eyes. She is dressed all in white with fake wings behind her back on stage. She argues a lot with Raoul, a childhood friend, but is the first to accept Francoeur as he is and will do anything to protect him.
The police are unable to shoot Francoeur, as Maynott doesn't want them to hit Lucille. He instead throws the 'antidote' at Francoeur, and the small bottle promptly smashes and explodes, giving Francoeur a thick pink cloud of smoke to use for cover, as he disappears through the trap door.
Francoeur instantly grew to a height of about 7 feet. Afterwards, he ran into lucille who panicked from his appearance but soon after lent him a hand and gave him a disguise.

It really captures the Parisian atmosphere. The animation is in the same league as Megamind, Despicable Me etc. It's not as good as the Pixar/Dreamworks movies, but it was still very well done. Some jokes worked, others didn't, but all in all I found it well worth the money.
He also worked as storyboard artist on Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas (2003), The Madagascar Penguins in a Christmas Caper (2005) and Flushed Away (2006). In 1993 Bergeron founded the animation studio "Bibo Films" in France. He directed the 2011 film A Monster in Paris which he dedicated to his father.
