Draw an egg shape for the head and then draw the rest of the body using lines. You should be able to find the pose you like easier this way. Keep the limbs of the body proportioned with the head, so that the head is not too big for the body. This stick figure is sort of like the skeleton of your anime boy. Add some form to your stick figure.

Anime is absolutely terrible when it comes to power levels. Just ask any DBZ fan, who will either immediately go into fits at the mere mention of the term, or start correcting you about how Vegeta’s scanner didn’t actually say “over 9,000” in the original series.
Focus on making the face more round and the eyes young. Babies and children tend to have baby fat, so their bodies will have more circles than straight lines. The head will also be bigger in proportion to the body, which will give them a cuter look. Take a look at some chibis for a good (but exaggerated) example.

If you asked this show, what it is, it would tell you that it doesn't know "Am I an Isekai? Only technically. Am I an SoL? For the most part. Am I a battle-shounen? I try to, but I fail miserably. Am I trying to be Konosuba? Yes, but I don't even get close." I do not mind a show bringing different genres together. Most shows do that, anyway.
Ok, first things first: as a general rule I do not like isekai anime. The idea is fun but most series in the genre are generic as hell and make me want to claw my eyes out just to stop watching them. There are some exceptions to the rule though and here's an ongoing list of them.
