Katawa Shoujo is a VN and a romance drama set at a high school but it's probably got the best depiction of disabilities with the animu style and both blind and deaf characters as well as a range of other disabilities.
The Blind Swordsman: Zatoichi (2003) The blind masseur/swordsman comes to a town in control of warring gangs, and while bunking with a farming family, he meets two women with their own agenda.
Darker than Black: Kuro no Keiyakusha has a blind girl, Yin, in the main cast. I found Darker than Black, but I read people saying that the second season was really bad, and that put me off of watching it since it made me feel like there'd be no satisfactory conclusion to the show if I got attached to it.

The D. Gray-man anime series lasted for 103 episodes, spread across three "stages," or four seasons. After the conclusion of the fourth season, however, the series simply stopped.

This is not how a good anime should be. Overall, this anime has just been overhyped to seem good when all it is, is just some stereotypical half assed piece of work. Heroman is a weird one.

The blood in the film has been described by many as being "too CGI". Kitano did this intentionally, wanting to "soften the shock to the audience" due to the high body count. Kitano told the CGI artist he wanted the blood to "look like flowers blossoming across the screen."

Between the romance of the two leads of this series, Mizuki often gets overlooked as the “nice” guy that was part of the heroine’s reverse harem. Yet no one talks of the phenomenal development he makes after he meets Nanami.
